2010 / 11 Excel Racing Moments
Best of Dave Richo's Excel moments of Topgear Racing, my first race in 2010
getting a nudge from a gemi at about 160k at the kink. Lakeside and
(Excel common Forum page link) will probably have to copy and paste it to
the address panel or just go to www.carevents.com.au and go to the forums
Subaru WRX STi Mallala Track Day
Both the Black 2002 STi and the blue 2006 WRX have had extensive work done
on them, thank's to Sean and the boys at S&J.
It was first track day for 2011 and both cars found it hard to get in good
laps due to slower traffic resulting in poor lap times, however it was good
to get out and get suspension set up for the track.
Looking forward to the first time attack day this year on the 6th of March.
Hyundai Excel Turbo 2
My Hyundai Excel Fun Project with some light upgrades.
actually i working on a Digital Instrument Cluster..
4G63 Hyundai Excel Dedication
This a dedication to my old 93 Hyundai Excel with a 4g63t swap out of a
eclipse 2.0 turbo. I sold the car to
later find out that was a big mistake. Don't know where it is now so I
assume that someone took the "good" parts out of the car and scrap the
shell. This was the best car I ever had together and I just wanted to make
this video in the memory of this car. I know it was just a car but it meant
more to me than that, I'm sure some car guy junkies feel the same way about
their old cars that regret getting rid of or selling.
NSW Excel Racing - Sydney Motorsport Park 10/8/13 Race 2 - www.eCards2go.com Racing Excel
Reverse Grid race, had finished 3rd in previous race so started 8th.
Marshalls messed up the grid so i had a car 3m in front of me stuck between
grid placings. Anyway luckily got away clean and then sat behind Keggie for
most of the race whilst he and i tried to get past Adam Hughes but
couldn't. A fun race, action packed and even though a little frustrating,
was a lot of fun. Finished 6th, my worst result of the round but probably
the most challenging race.
22 Jan 11 Mallala first time out.wmv
My first look at the Mallala circuit in South Australia. The front of the
Soarer has recieved a freshen up with a new fibreglass splitter and
undertray. A passenger seat and belts etc has been added, albeit temporary.
I managed a string of 1 Min 23 sec laps, but the day was just about
learning the track and getting the car sorted from transport and storage. I
definitely need new tyres though. 2 years and counting...
