Vintage Racing - 1950s Indy Cars startup and race. LOUD!!!
Chris Ashworth records a series of 1950s Indy Cars at Michigan
International Speedway. This was a vintage racing event that was associated
with the Concours d'elegance of America, where these cars were on display
after this event.
This event was incredible! I got to wander in the pits and the garage area.
You will hear these cars starting up right from the tailpipes, and you will
see them driving on the track from the pits.

Superior Chevrolet Corvette At Road America
In this video, the Superior Chevrolet C6 Corvette races in the SCCA
Run-Offs in the Touring 1 class at Road America on September 26, 2009. Get
ready for some high-speed wheel-to-wheel, bumper-to-bumper racing. Watch

Mustang GT-1 Trans Am Racing at Road America
Take a few laps in my 1998 Mustang GT-1 TA car at Road America
during the 2011 Kohler International Challenge Group 10 race as I battle
current Grand Am and World Challenge cars piloted by road racing legends
Jack Baldwin and Brian Kubinski. Thanks to my great crew, RT Restorations,
and George and Cheri Forge from Motor Masters that helped me land this old
girl right in the middle of Winner's Circle! Be sure to watch in HD and
don't miss the "on the grass pass" of the Cobra Challenge car into turn 12,
or the race up the hill into turn 6 to grab 2nd place from the WC Corvette.
512 Mustang @ SAAC Vintage Race 1 of 3
My 67 Fastback Mustang
participating in the 2008 Shelby Club Vintage Exhibition Race held during
the Mini-Nats celebration at Thunderhill Raceway. This is a great event
that the Nor Cal Shelby Club puts on once a year, and I'm extremely happy
to be a part of it. This video is in three parts due to the length of the
3.7L V6 Mustang at Road America 2013
I took my 2011 Supercharged 3.7L V6 Mustang to Road America Race Track on
June 29-30th 2013 in Elkhart Wisconsin. This was the Annual North Woods
Shelby Club Event. I was in attendance 2 of the 3 track days. This was my
first time at Road America Race Track and I have to say I came away amazed
at how fun this track is.
This event had around 150-175 cars per day. This video is a compilation of
several runs over the two days. I had 3 cameras on the car so there are
plenty of interesting scenes. The first main clip has telemetry data from
Track Addict. I then had a go pro inside and one outside the car.
The video is a bit long but is full of action. Inside are not just Mustangs but a variety of cars.
Many of whom I was able to catch and pass. You can read more about this
track day and see more pictures at http://v6Mustangperformance.com/road-america-t
I look forward to running my Mustang at Road America at the NW SC
track day in 2014 to see how I can improve on my lap times.
Trans Am Mustangs
Trans Am was a racing series that started in the late '60s before 'Trans
Am' the car, by Pontiac, existed. These are various pictures of some of the
Trans Am Mustangs that
raced in this series from 1966 to 1970.

1966 Ford Mustang, Vintage
Racecar, 600HP, Most Wins, FOR SALE!
This was the most heavily awarded vintage race car in Mexico. It won
everything there was to win... It is now for sale by the builder/driver in
San Diego and it is ready to dominate what the US has to offer. This Mustang has over 600 HP to the
rear wheels and was built as a no-expense spared vintage racer. We are
very pleased to offer this very special consignment from Pedro, it's San
This was built in 2000 from a very nice and solid car that normally would
have been restored for show. Instead Pedro commenced a no-expense spared
build of the perfect vintage race car. He started the restoration by
placing the shell into acid for 24 hours to lighten the metal, giving it
aluminum-like lightness. The car has all the necessary performance and
safety upgrades necessary. He was sponsored by Ford Motor Company through
their racing program so whatever he needed or wanted he received.
During its development this Mustang spent about 50 hours on the
Dyno. With a 406 cu
in stroker motor, Richmond transmission, Tordsen differential, Wilwood
brakes, this is ready to dominate the vintage racing tracks again.
Pedro was an affluent owner of one of Mexico's top restoration facilities-
he had over 50 employees restoring cars in a top notch facility. So
between the Ford sponsorship and his personal restoration facility this car
was built and maintained without regard to cost.
More details will be coming and the Mustang is available for viewing in
San Diego. For more information please contact Harry at

Know how to spot a bad driver in a sea of American muscle? Look for the

to hitch a ride on his passenger's side door. Who knew fiberglass was
