When I heard that he was over in the UK tuning at Surrey Rolling Road I decided to tag along and see what all the fuss was about. I met up with Stoo from the itr-dc5 owners club. The new Honda Civic Type R turbo car's 2.0-litre turbocharged VTEC will develop between 276 and 300bhp according to Honda, which is delivered to the front wheels via a limited-slip differential and an old-school manual gearbox. Honda promises this will be the fastest front-wheel drive road car on the Nurburgring and look almost as tasty as this very menacing design study.
