1996 Chevy Cavalier - Weird Cooling system problem - Help?
Took a video of my gauges after my car sat idle for about 5min. After the 5min the temp gauge (lower left) was peaked out in the red. When I would rev the car, the temp would go back down to normal (1/2 gauge). The engine thermostat was replaced, there was no air in the system, coolant pump was replaced, block test was ok, the coolant fan APPEARS to be running. Thinking it could be an issue with the coolant fan or the temp gauge in the dash. Never have seen a car get cooler the higher you rev it lol.

Automotive oxygen sensors, colloquially known as O2 sensors, make modern electronic fuel injection and emission control possible. They determine if the air fuel ratio exiting a gas-combustion engine is rich (with unburnt fuel vapor) or lean (with excess oxygen).
