1972 Buick Skylark ride
This is a video of my late brother Andrew and his 1972 Buick Skylark. Andrew was undergoing chemo at the time this video was shot so it was one of his last rides in the car. He had the car for 20 years and performed all sorts of modifications on it such as rebuilding the engine, converting the car to a five speed manual and toughening up the suspension. The car is a Buick 350, 4 bbl and five speed. Andrew passed away on December 31st, 2006. The music is from King Crimson.

1972 Buick Skylark
1972 Buick Skylark with a Hi-Compression Buick 350-4 I've had this car since October 8th 2010, I'm a senior in High School and it is my first car, my dad payed for half of it and I payed for the other half. I pay for the performance goodies that go into it and the occasional parts that break too. I love driving this old monster even though premium gas prices are outrageous but the rumble and roar of that massive V8 are well worth it. I take pride in this car and my dad and I do most of the work on it ourselves, it's somewhat of a father-son project. We've done nothing but make this car a heck of a lot better than it was when we got it. In the great words of GS Club of America, going fast with class, that's what these Buicks do. Detials: Stock HP: 175hp (for 1972 Buick 350-4 8.5:1 compression) Rear-wheel HP: 226hp @ 4326 RPM (should be a little higher with the Hyfire and Mallory coil) Rear-wheel Tourqe: 307.8 lb-ft @ 3372 RPM (should also be a little higher) Net HP: approx. 260hp Compression: 9.5:1 (not sure, but definitely higher than stock because without prem fuel I get spark knock with the correct fuel to air mixture) Rear-end gears: 2.73:1 Open Differential (plan on getting a Limited Slip one) Transmission: turbohydramatic 350 (with a shift kit for fun :D)

1966 Buick Convertible Barn Find Rescue, Part 1
This is the story of a '66 Buick Special convertible that had been abandoned in Arizona in 1978 by the family of Rick Pewe, editor of 4-Wheel & Off-Road magazine. In 2011, the guys from HOT ROD Magazine, in conjunction with Rick, spent four days bringing the car back from the dead with plans to drive it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. This is part 1, with the hacking fun the guys had rescuing the car. Look for part two, loaded with road-trip hilarity. The story is printed in the September 2011 issue of HOT ROD Magazine.

My 1972 Skylark
This is my 1972 Buick Skylark, 350ci Buick Small Block. It has an Alpine CDA-9884 Stereo in it, with an iPod hook up. I had a duel Exhaust installed in June of 2009 and have a video up.

71 skylark springfield
SOLD! This car I purchased about 2 years ago. It is a 71 Buick Skylark Custom Coupe. It has a 350 4 bbl, TH 350 automatic, bucket seats, rally wheels, this is the original color (#75 red), has new duel Exhaust and sounds great. It is currently a daily driver and turns lots of heads. Sweet ride. Sorry about the poor sound quality from my cheap camera. Next? 72 Nova!

One Stop Motors - 1972 Buick Skylark
1972 Buick Skylark 1972 was the last model year for the mid-sized Buick Skylark. During this model year many pollution controls were added to the Engines, Compression was lowered, engines had to accept leaded and unleaded gas, and spark timing was retarded (no vacuum advance in lower gears) while driving in lower gears to reduce emissions. For 1972, the base Buick Skylark used the 350 cubic inch V8 with the 2-barrel Rochester carburetor (now putting out 145 horsepower) as standard equipment. A new federally mandated system to calculate power was put into effect that year, and the actual engine performance was probably comparable but slightly lower because of pollution controls in the 1972 model year to the 230 hp (170 kW) that was listed for the previous year. The Skylark 350 now used a version of the same V8 engine as the base Skylark, but with a 4-barrel Rochester carburetor that generated 170 hp (130 kW). Vehicle located in Mendon, MI.
