I compare some Shock Racing LED turn signals to my factory Honda CBR F3 signals with incandescent bulbs. It seems the factory bulbs are brighter. Since I want vehicles behind me to know when im about to slow down to make a turn, I think im going to keep the factory signals.
2006 Yamaha R6 w/ LED halo turn signal
I didn't care for my Audi inspired turn signals, so I tried something different. I got new blue halos that are thinner and have longer wires with only one ballast instead of a ballast per halo. Then I installed LED halo under the Blue halos to act as my new turn signals. During the day they aren't spectacular, but nor are flushies.

How To Install An LED Brake Light On A Motorcycle
Here's how to install an LED brake light bulb on a motorcycle. See all my motorcycles at http://hoohoohoblin.com/ The taillight on my Buell Cyclone stopped working, so I decided to replace the bulb with an LED brake light bulb, # 1157. The Buell only has one tail light bulb, so if it burns out, I'm invisible from behind in the dark. I decided to replace the incandescent bulb with an LED bulb because LED light bulbs are much more shock resistant and less likely to malfunction. They're affordable now too. I paid $16.99 for a set of two at an auto parts store. They used to be really expensive. In this video I also show how my Harley Davidson FXR was converted so that the rear turn signals are also running lights. This is a worthwhile conversion, as it makes the motorcycle much more visible at night, and you are still visible if one or 2 other bulbs burn out. To do it, you need to wire up the back turn signals with 1157 bulbs. You can do this by installing front turn signals on the back. The front turn signals are also running lights. I'm not sure if it is officially legal to have your rear turn signals converted to running lights, but I've never had a problem. Safer is better.

LED Turn Signals 08 STI
LED turn signals from V-LEDs.com. They are the switchback Type-2 LEDs. Parking light is a nice 5000K white, and then when you engage your turn signal, it lights up amber. When turn signal is switched off, the lights automatically goes back to white. I also installed the optional capacitors from V-LEDs to eliminate the fast blinker effect.
