Test details: The Chevrolet Cavalier and the Pontiac Sunfire were redesigned for the 1995 model year. The Sunfire sedan was dropped after the 2002 model year, and the Cavalier was dropped after the 2005 model year. Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement wasn't well controlled. The dummy rotated around the left side of the airbag and, during rebound, the right rear of the dummy's head hit the window sill, denting it. Then the dummy's head hit the B-pillar. Injury measures — Measures taken from the neck, chest, and right leg indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. A high head acceleration occurred when the dummy's head hit the window sill, indicating that injuries to the head would be possible. Forces on the left tibia indicate that injuries to the lower leg would be likely. Head acceleration from the B-pillar hit was low.

Engine Mount Replacement [Pontiac Sunfire / Chevy Cavalier]
In this video I replace the engine mount on a 1998 Chevy Cavalier. TRANSCRIPT: Today we are replacing an engine mount in a 1998 Chevrolet cavalier. So the first thing I'm gonna do is put a jack underneath and support the engine from the bottom so that when we take the engine mount off it wont fall down. So I don't know if you can see that but I am supporting it right where that... They call it a dog bone mount is, on the left side of the engine. The engine mount.. Has a bolt here.. a bolt there and then two nuts on either side. I believe they're 15 millimeter There are also these two nuts on top. Going to have to take this expansion tank off. There is one bolt here. I missed a nut! Right here! Okay so This part comes off. Now, this must have been replaced before because if it's from the factory these will be rivets but in this case looks like they're bolts and I could just take them out. So you've got two bolts here, or rivits. If they are rivets you have the drill them out with the 9/16 drill bit I believe and we have two bolts here so let's take these apart. I don't have a socket for these so I'm going to have to do it the old-fashioned way Oh-ho! There it goes! Alright, let's take this out. A little prying.... [Talking to friend] And there it is! This is the new one. It comes with two new bolts which is good. You can only put it in one way. so has to go that way There we go. Has to go in one way. Put the bolts in.. Okay... And then we have.. This guy. That goes on top. This goes towards the engine. Which is like this. Okay lets.. fish this back inside. It goes in so much easier than it comes out. Line up the bolt holes.. There's one... Then two.. Okay! that's it!

I done this short video to show what i find a lot of times when these GM Sunfire ,Cavalier and other cars have headlight problems.There is a wire connector under the battery ,and behind the washer reservoir, and lots of the time i find it to be corroded ,but more times there is a wire broken or corroded and not making contact any more. There are two hot wires going to the headlights and a lot of people try to rob power from one and power the other headlight. Not a good idea. There are also two fuses for the headlights a right headlight fuse and a left headlight fuse.The power comes to headlights from a Orange on left side and a Dark Blue Wire for the right headlight,then the Pink wire is return to switch for high beams and the lighter blue is return to switch for the low beams. If you are checking the wires you should back probe and not just stick the point of the test light into the side of the wire. Sorry After loading, I realized I spelled ALSO Wrong. My bad.
