NO RIGHTS ARE IMPLIED TO THE MUSIC PLAYING......Just purchased this 454 4-bolt main Chevy engine. Had been sitting for 10 yrs. 86,000 actual miles on it. Switched to the electronic distributor and it started right up. Just needs a little more "cam" to make it sound better.

74 Chevy Nova Update 3 - Bare metal
I took it down to bare metal. Took 2 weeks to get it bare. Used Metal to metal Body filler to do the body work. Ready for Epoxy primer.

I block sanded the fenders three times before it was to my liking. Than I painted the jambs. I also sanded down to bare metal the cowl panel and painted it as well.

74 Chevy Nova Update 11 - Block Sanding Doors #2 with Timelapse
Here I block sand my Door panels for the second time. When I reprimed the doors, I added extra paint to the lows so that I can block sand the doors smooth. I show this in this video with timelapse of the actual sanding process from start to finish.

Finally some COLOR! I show the jamb painting from masking to complete. Velocity Red Mica is the color and its Urethane Base with Clear Coat. Red Oxide Sealer was used as well to help with overage.
