Summit Point Majors 2013 SM race 2
There has been some controversy about this race, so I am posting it here unedited. To illustrate the level of racing/skill expected by top-notch drivers in one of the most competitive amateur racing series in the world, I got chewed up afterwards because "I put two wheels on the grass at the start". The official was almost ready to have a heart attack about it. Apparently some officials have not driven a race car in a loooooong loooong time. (I can say more, but let's stop here)

2013, May 5, SCCA Majors, Day 2, SRF Race, Summit Point
May 5, 2013, SCCA Majors at Summit Point, WV. Spec Racer Ford, Group 5. Qualified 11th, ran 21 laps in 9-11th, retired at lap 21. Brought home 10 lbs. of gravel.

I was given the chance to join the IMSA Reunion/SCCA under 2.5 liter race at Summit Point during the 2013 Jefferson 500. I had a great time working my way up from the back of the pack, but I decided to pit early to save the car for the driver using it all weekend.
