This is a video a friend and I took of his families 1978 Trans Am, they bought this car as rust bucket pretty much, and completely restored it themselves. The engine is a 455 c.i. V8, posi rear end, 3 speed automatic.

1973 Trans Am Pro Touring - Dyno/Tuning Session
One of our recent builds just finished getting Dynoed and Tuned at "The Shop" in Lincoln, NE. This is a clients car from Colorado that has a Butler Designed 455 engine that on the stand will produce around 700HP.
We have full DSE suspension in this car from front to Rear, with Wilwood Brakes and Hydrotech Braking systems. A complete YearOne BRE rear speaker Shelf with full Kicker Sound system. Ram Air Restorations 3.5" Dual Spintech mufflers, and the new Dougs Headers.
On the MustangDyno this car was pulling just shy of 500hp to the rear wheels and 650 HP to the flywheel (based on current conditions, Hot & Humid).
