Video from the Mothers Day drag races, May 12th 1963 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington. This was shot by a friend of my parents, Tex Steere, who asked me to help convert it for him and has graciously allowed me to post it on YouTube.

1963 Cal-Look Ragtop 2332cc FK-8 cam
Some video of driving on the road after tuning carbs and valve adjustments. It is a 2332cc with an arpm case, 48 dellortos and wedge port heads 1.4 rockers, fk-8 cam and msd ignition stage 2 pressure plate and 6 puck copperhead disc. (see 6800 rpm on the tach at 52 sec in)

running the beetle up on the Dyno.......1776cc all gene berg engine.....made 98.5 HP @ wheels on everyday tune........noise of the "little screamer' engine caught a couple of onlookers by surprise, including the owner :)
