FASTEST STREET CAR IN AMERICA - Tom Bailey's 217 MPH '69 Camaro!
1000 miles, 4 tracks, 5 days, and 5 six second passes, if that doesn't
prove that this is the fastest street car in America (possibly the world),
I don't know what does! Tom Bailey and Steve Morris not only won Drag Week
2013, but they are also the first to run 5 consecutive six second passes at
Chevy Big Block Camaro 509 "The Grocery Getter"
This is our 80 Camaro
that has been transformed from weak to sick with a 10:1, 509cid solid
roller big block, TH400 with Hughs trans kit, Hughs 3000 stall conv., GM
12 bolt rear with Detroit Tru-Trac and Richmond 3.73 gears all custom built
by me. Frame connectors, and eurothane bushing's throughout stiffened up
the car, Moroso coil springs and Afco rear springs made it all come
together. The fiberglass 4"cowl induction hood keeps it all concealed. We
love the car and cant wait to get it to the 1/4 mile and chassis Dyno to shoot more video's.
BADASS Big Block Camaro 1200HP! (Tri Charged)
What we have here is a tri charged Big Block Camaro SS Convertible with a
Hooker Double Pumper Exhaust system,
Edlebrock 9" rear end with 50 spline axles, Holley ultra ported, double
flow cylinder heads, and a set of TWIN B&M sonic -x high flow carbs. This
thang puts down 3000rwhp and still get 32mpg (city). There is no other
street car in the whole universe that can compare to this fine piece of
engineering right here folks.
