Kurt Lotz präsentiert in der Motorshow TCS den neuen Renault Clio RS Anschauen Knallige Lackierung, aggressiver Front und dicke Kotflügel: Der neue Renault Clio Sport macht keinen Hehl daraus, dass er das Topmodell seiner Modellfamilie ist. Reinsitzen Anders als von aussen, gibt's beim Standard-Clio-Sport innen nicht viel Unterschiede zu den braven Brüdern. Einzig der gelb hinterlegte Tacho und das griffige Lederlenkrad mit der gelben Nullpunktmarkierung sind anders. Dafür ist er ebenso alltagstauglich wie die anderen Clios. Die optionalen Recaro-Schalensitze, die Top-Seitenhalt bieten und 2000 Franken Aufpreis kosten, sind für die gewöhnlichen Clio natürlich nicht erhältlich. Fahren Der 2,0-Liter-Benziner des Vorgängers wurde optimiert. So leistet der 4-Zylinder neu 200 statt 197 PS. Damit sprintet der Sport-Zwerg - untermalt von röhrendem Auspuffsound - in 6,9 Sekunden auf Tempo 100. Kein Top-Wert, doch in Anbetracht dessen, dass der Sauger erst ab 5000 Touren richtig Biss entwickelt, verständlich. Erste Sahne ist dafür das Fahrverhalten. Dank breiter Spur und straffer Abstimmung zieht der kleine Renner wie auf den sprichwörtlichen Schienen durch Kurven. Ausserdem bietet die direkte Lenkung viel Rückmeldung und ermöglicht millimetergenaue Manöver. Bei so viel Sportlichkeit bleibt der Komfort allerdings etwas auf der Strecke, ist aber okay. Kaufen Ohne Extras bietet der Franzose viel Sport fürs Geld - 30'700 Franken für ein Auto mit 200 PS sind ein Hit. Wer allerdings etwas mehr möchte als nur normale Sportsitze oder eine manuelle Klimaanlage oder gewöhnliche Felgen, muss etwas tiefer in die Tasche greifen. Selbst die Spezialfarbe "Alien grün" kostet mehr als 2000 Franken extra. Fazit Der Renault Clio Sport sieht zwar aggressiv aus und tönt laut. Doch er taugt durchaus auch für den Alltag. Wem das knallige Grün nicht gefällt - es gibt auch andere Farben. Steckbrief Motor/Antrieb: 2,0-Liter-Benziner, 4 Zylinder, 200 PS, 215 Nm, Frontantrieb, Sechsgang-Handschaltung. Fahrleistungen: 0 bis 100 km/h in 6,9 Sekunden, Spitze 223 km/h Umwelt: Verbrauch Werk 8,4 l/100 km, Test 9,9 l/100 km, CO2-Ausstoss 199 g/km Masse: LxBxH = 3,99x1,77x1,48 m, Kofferraum 288 bis 1028 Liter, Gewicht 1365 kg. Serienausstattung: 8 Airbags, ESP, Klimaanlage, 17-Zoll-Felgen, Radio/CD, u. a. Zusatzausstattung: Recaro-Schalensitze (Fr. 2000.-), Tomtom-Navigationssystem (Fr. 700.-), Sonderlackierung "Vert-Alien" (Fr. 2100.-). Preis: Testwagen 38'200 Franken, Basispreis 30'700 Franken.
