My first lap around the road course at LV Speedway in IS F. Neutral handling, incredible power and Brembo brakes. 8-speed direct shift auto transmission changes gears in .1sec. Even though I love manual gearbox there is no argument that for shaving the last fraction of a second from your lap time this is the way to go. Shifts are direct, immediate and smooth, no waiting. Downshifts are just as quick with the "blip" perfectly mimmicking well executed heel-and-toe. SMG and dual-clutch trans don't compare. Plus, this is a Lexus, street ride is smooth and quiet.

This is a compilation video from a day of racing at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. After a brief
classroom training and a van tour around the track, they strapped each
driver into a 700 horsepower NASCAR race car
and let him rip around the track solo behind a pace car instructor. I was
doing 136MPH in the turns.

2008 Nissan GT-R La Jolla California
La Jolla California is home to some of the best and most expensive exotic
and high performance cars in the world. Check out this amazing Nissan GT-R

SPECS: Nissan claims the GT-R can reach a top speed of 192 mph (309 km/h),
Motor Trend recorded a top speed of 195.0 mph (313.8 km/h). It has been
tested to achieve 0-60 mph (97 km/h) times as low as 3.2 seconds with
launch control and 3.9 seconds without. Edmunds.com achieved a standing
quarter-mile time of 11.6 s at 190 km/h (120 mph) using the GT-R's launch
control system.Car and Driver achieved a standing quarter-mile time of 11.5
s at 200 km/h (120 mph). Evo magazine achieved a 0-100-0 mph time of 13.9
seconds. Autocar achieved a 0-100 mph (160 km/h) time of 8.5 seconds. With
a manufacturer claimed lap time of 7:29 min on standard Japanese market
tires, the GT-R is currently one of the fastest production cars to lap the
Nürburgring circuit, although Porsche accused Nissan of falsifying those
claims in September 2008. Porsche claims to have conducted their own test
of the GT-R using no modifications and stock tires and achieved a best time
of 7:54. Nissan officially disputed Porsche's claim in October 2008.
Independent testing has provided times of around 7:50 - 7:55 for the Nissan
GT-R and 7:49 for the Porsche GT2 on the Nürburgring, though both tests
were conducted with the track partially damp and with the use of automotive
journalists as opposed to professional drivers. The GT-R currently holds a
lap time of 1:19.7 around the Top Gear Test Track, equalling that of the
Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Road & Track were able to achieve quick lap times
with the car on Buttonwillow Raceway, clocking in approximately 5 seconds
faster than the Chevrolet Corvette
Z06 and Porsche 911 turbo. On Willow
Springs International Motorsports Park, Edmunds were able to achieve lap
times that were approximately 1 second slower than a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
with the GT-R. On the Las Vegas Motor Speedway infield road course, Motor
Trend were able to achieve lap times with the GT-R that were approximately
equivalent to the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and Porsche 911 GT2 and 3 seconds
slower than a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. Several automotive journalists,
including Chris Harris of Autocar, Jethro Bovingdon of Evo, and Jason
Barlow of Top Gear (magazine) have compared the GT-R to the Bugatti Veyron. Harris and Bovingdon both
labeled the GT-R a "baby Veyron" in their respective
comparison tests of the car

Lexus IS-F PPE Headers and Joe-Z Exhaust Installed First Startup
Installed ppe headers and the joe-z true dual Exhaust this weekend with my friend Tom. Sound
is amazing in person. This was taken with an iphone so not the greatest
audio/video. The steam is partially because it was 28 degrees out. The
smoke was from the coating on the header and all the new piping warming up.
My phone couldn't handle the last rev at the end! Fail!

What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the 2014 IS: For 2014 the every
popular Lexus IS gets a full makeover boasting more technology and better
fuel economy and exterior design language. The Lexus IS debuted in 2001 and
while it had intentions of beating the BMW 3 Series in sales in never
really did so. The 2nd generation IS however was 3 times more popular than
the 1st generation but it still did not beat sales of the 3 Series. So can
this 3rd generation finally reach it's goal after 13 years? Powertrains in
the new IS are pretty much the same as the outgoing model a 2.5 L or a
powerful 3.5 L V6 are still present, however the new 3.5 L comes with a new
8-Speed Automatic which makes better fuel economy. Room on the interior is
roomier than it's every been before, however it still feels cramped even
with 4 full size adults the new 2014 Infiniti Q50 and Cadillac ATS will fit
the bill if you want more room. On the exterior design Lexus has flared it
up a bit, while some can still easily tell it's an IS things are changed
from the LED Daytime running lights separating from the main headlights to
the sleek taillights and to the new spindle grill design that some love or
hate. Everything feels quite familiar on the new IS within the interior
with nice supportive and extremely comfortable front seats and to it's
mouse like pad that can be a distraction but it's very easy to use. High
quality materials are also very evident. There are many packages to choose
from on the new IS, however one of the more notable packages will be the F
Sport Package which will add even more flare to the exterior design.
Driving dynamics on the IS are not bad, however the 3 Series and ATS will
be the one if you want better driving dynamics. Pricing on the new IS
starts at around $35,000 and can run you to almost $50,000 depending on
options you choose from. Now compared to it's competitors the new IS is
definitely an improvement over the outgoing model and we really praise it
for it's ultra luxurious interior and a flaring design as well as the
powerful 3.5 L V6. We also really love the improved fuel economy numbers
and more technological features. So is the new IS competitive? Yes it is,
most IS buyers are looking for a luxurious interior with a nice amount of
technology as well as decent driving dynamics.
