1947 Chrysler New Yorker Club Coupe
http://www.barnfineclassics.com/inventory/1947-chrysler-new-yorker-club-cou pe Here's a really neat 1947 Chrysler New Yorker Club Coupe! It's powered by a 323ci Straight 8 engine and a Fluid Drive semi-automatic transmission! The transmission has reverse, low, and high speeds. A clutch is used to shift between the gears. Both low and high have 2 gears as well, and those will shift automatically. It's very ahead of it's time! It also has original paint, chrome, and interior! There's only 99,000 miles on the car and it's a 66 year old survivor! It comes with many books, a binder of ads and brochures, and a maintenance record as well. It has all working gauges, wipers, turn signals, heater, and lights! It has all the correct filter housings under the hood complete with Mopar stickers! It was meticulously maintained and daily driven. It still has a 6 volt system, original Chrysler hubcaps, Dunlop wide white tires, a Mopar compass, and a Fulton traffic light finder! It's extremely straight and solid, has super cool body lines, and runs VERY quiet!

1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham
This is the first video of my 1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham I recently imported from the United States. Original 23,000 mile car. 440 and full of options. The plan is to use it for car shows while keeping the car as original as possible.

Just Arrived - The 1986 Chrysler New Yorker
It just came today... My dreams have finally been fullfilled!!!!!!!! This car also has auto level air ride suspension! Note: It only has 52,800 miles on it. The mileage on the instrument cluster was from a replacement one. Also, the radio is not original. I would like to find the original one and install it instead. Chrysler Instrument Cluster Repair
How I repaired my instrument panel myself and saved $800. It has been really fun helping others with this tutorial. Good luck. Please comment if it helped you and share your story. Disclaimer: I am an IT guy, not an auto mechanic. Seek professional help if this seems too tricky for you. Also, others have reported possible additional issues like a bad BCM that may continue to fail even after its replaced. To replace instrument cluster light bulbs, watch this next. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TpLQKOfnWs

Son Takes Chrysler New Yorker Rally Car to the Next Stage
When Jake Auerbach was thirteen years old, his dad, Jonathan, got him a summer job pumping gas at the shop of the family mechanic in Long Island, New York. Jake always suspected that, in arranging this employment, his dad had more in mind than pocket money and work ethic. "My dad was useless in the garage," says Jake. "I think he was, in a way, training a mechanic in me." By the time he was in his late-teens, Jake had become not only a competent mechanic but also his father's navigator in numerous vintage car rallies. Not that such a division of labor was always a comfortable one for father and son. "In rallying, the driver has to follow the navigator's directions," says Jake, "and my dad was a successful corporate executive who didn't take orders easily. Usually, the only thing I could do was nudge." The Auerbachs went through several cars -- including a 1932 Ford and a Fiat Topolino -- before acknowledging that perhaps this rally business called for a rally car. The final straw came when, in the 2006 Great Race from Philadelphia, Penn., to San Rafael, Calif., Jonathan and Jake found themselves caught in a rainstorm, water sloshing at their feet and the ignition shorting out, in a 1953 Lazzarino with no top. After some searching, they settled upon a 1951 Chrysler New Yorker, a car which had previously run the famed La Carrera Panamericana race in Mexico and the Pike's Peak Hill Climb in Colorado. Jonathan and Jake quickly began adding their own miles to the car's odomoeter, running the New York-to-Vancouver leg of the Trans-America Challenge in 2012 in addition to numerous other events. In total, this father-and-son team covered more than 10,000 competition miles together in the New Yorker. They never, however, managed to win any of the events they entered together. In December 2012, Jonathan Auerbach died at the age of 70. Shortly after Jonathan's passing, Jake entered the first rally he'd ever run without his dad. He won. And Jake has no intention of slowing the Chrysler down. Jake and Jonathan had long planned to enter their Chrysler in the 2016 Peking to Paris Motor Challenge. As a tribute to his dad, Jake has every intention of sticking to that plan. Drive Tastefully® http://Petrolicious.com http://facebook.com/Petrolicious

Harley vs. Indian: The Great Race 2013 (Australia)
A digital memoire of the 2013 Great Race, Australia (Please note that the digs at Indians are in jest! Some of my good friends ride the other brand) When you hear me laugh during the video, I'm not laughing at the water logged Indians on the side of the road...I'm laughing and the lunacy of riding in hail that was 1/2'' or 12mm in diam and belting the bejusus out of me. The Indian vs Harley Great Race is a navigation, reliability, and time-trial event. This year the event was based in Jinabyne NSW. The courses that we traveled over, were some of the best touring and cornering roads in Australia. There is no real speed involved - it is more about getting your bike around the course and checking in and out of check-points whilst correctly answering questions at each check-point... Overall, the Great Race is about riding with your mates, regardless of whether they are riding a Harley or an Indian. As competitors, we all take it seriously and the time honoured rivalry that has existed between the 2 brands since their inception, is still alive and well. Most of this video footage was shot in the beautiful High country. Harleys were the winners this year!
