Donington Raceway UK. The Cinquecento is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to track agility. Regularly out cornering and out braking many of the big boys to their horror. Sadly this takes a little skill & I have little skill. Having kept the Escort turbo at bay for long enough it was time to bale out at the old hairpin.

Lap times were coming down - until I lost a lurid tail slide on one of the short straights and was heading for a green Marshall's Hut, on wet grass . . . . . In a split second I had to choose what looked the 'softer' to hit ! I chose the tyres. Damage was pretty minimal and consisted of: I bonnet re-alignment 1 right side headlight 1 front number plate Small fibreglass repair to front & a little paint ! Who owns this car now ?
