Our 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track is painted Bathurst Black. That's Bathurst as in Bathurst 1000, a 620-mile (1,000-km) race on Australia's Mount Panorama Circuit, a 3.9-mile road course with 23 turns, grades of up to 16 percent and a 1.2-mile-long straightaway named Conrod Straight after a spectacular engine failure endured by racer Frank Kleinig in 1939.
Only heavily modified Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores in the V8 Supercar series (Australia's take on NASCAR) race at Bathurst today, so there's no obvious connection to the unassuming black clearcoat on our V6-equipped 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track.
But as we drive the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, we can imagine Hyundai's chassis engineers fine-tuning the ride and handling of their first rear-wheel-drive coupe on the demanding Bathurst circuit. Probably the cost constraints of building a $30,000 car don't allow for working holidays Down Under. Yet the 2010 Genesis Coupe isn't some soggy two-door version of the Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan.
Instead you'll find a very capable chassis underneath the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track's arresting bodywork. Hyundai's sport coupe might not be track-ready out of the box, but it doesn't wither when we pitch it into Bathurst-like turns on lumpy two-lane roads.
Cooler than Scion? Nissan Cube S Full Test

If you want to find out everything you need to know about the 2009 Nissan Cube S, just pull into In-N-Out Burger.
We're living in a drive-thru world, and the Cube is scaled to suit; a little self-contained habitat where life comes to you in a warm paper bag pushed through the driver side window. There in the line at In-N-Out, you've got a panoramic view of your world — neon colors, flashing lights and the big board with all your dining options. There's no reason to hurry, since you're already where you want to be.
Best of all, there's always someplace to put your stuff. A bin, a box, a shelf, a slot with bungee cords. A sliding, folding, tumbling collection of seats that you put together like a puzzle. You never fumble around when you're trying to put something down, because the perfect spot always magically comes to hand.
The fact that the 2009 Nissan Cube S is self-propelled is just a kind of unexpected bonus.

Drifter! Rhys Millen Hyundai Genesis Drifting

Rhys Millen @ Pikes Peak: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfF55LIxZo4
It's not like you think. It's not busy. Or rushed. Or frantic. There's no chopping at the wheel, no exaggerated stabs at the pedals. In fact, it's just the opposite: small, highly calculated and immensely precise inputs direct the Genesis Coupe's trajectory. Rapid but relaxed steering suggestions translate into dramatic changes in direction and speed. Subtle, deliberate prods at the throttle and shifter blur the scenery on one side, then the other.
This is cool control. This is engineered elegance. This is drifting done right. This is what it's like to ride in the world's most advanced drift car: Rhys Millen's 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
Of course the calm, collected ride inside is in ironic contrast to the violence outside. But we're not surprised. We've ridden with Millen before, during practice for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb years ago and around various rally stages back in American rallying's glory days.
Since then he has won the 2008 Red Bull World Drift Championships, the Formula D series title in 2005 and two Tires.com Triple Crown Drift Championships. Not to mention multiple titles at Pikes Peak. That this guy can drive is not the surprising part.
What is surprising is the level of preparation it takes to make a drift car competitive in 2009.

Hunkered down over its 19-inch wheels with its Exhaust burbling, the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe by Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) looks about as badass as any tuner car we've ever tested. Its wheelwells are absolutely filled with Toyo T1R rubber. And it's so low that there's not even room for a dime between the tires and fenders.....
Hyundai Sizzles: 2009 Hyundai Genesis Coupe @ 2008 NYAS
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/autoshows/newyork/2008/2010hyundaigenesiscoupe.html
After going to the effort and expense of developing its own rear-wheel-drive architecture, Hyundai is moving quickly with production applications. Only four months after showing the Genesis coupe concept at the Los Angeles auto show, the company has the production-ready 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe on display at the 2008 New York Auto Show. It goes on sale in the spring of 2008 — less than a year after the 2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan.

Nighttime Start Up of the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 and Demo of Interior/Exterior Lighting
An Interior and exterior tour and start up of the all new 2010 hyundai genesis at night showing the lighting and ambient lights of the car at night. You can't often check this out at the dealer so figured I'd help those out that are looking to buy one of these cars. Beautiful interior lighting scheme that I think you all will like as well.
2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring w/ "Track" Model Spoiler
Well I decided to purchase a spoiler from the Genesis Coupe Track model from Bob Mayberry Hyundai in Monroe, NC to accentuate the rear of the car and give it the more "sports" look. I loved the way the Track looks but I went with the grand touring because I enjoyed the aesthetics of it a bit more than the Track. Now that I have the spoiler on it, it's a nice factory touch, warrantied and everything without making it look gaudy or anything like that. I absolutely love it and think it makes the car look so much more aggressive! In this video I give before and after looks at the car as well as demonstrate the 3rd brake light and give a detailed look at the spoiler for those thinking of doing this as well. I totally recommend it. I also give an awesome Exhaust clip, and a couple driving clips. Enjoy!
