Genesis Coupe Tested! Hyundai Genesis Coupe Full Test

FOR HYUNDAI GENESIS @ INSIDELINE.COM: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FullTests/articleId=142686?tid=edmunds.il.home.photopanel..1.* WATCH RHYS MILLEN'S HYUNDAI GENESIS TAKE PIKES PEAK VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfF55LIxZo4 More Articles: http://www.insideline.com Car Prices & Info: http://www.edmunds.com Twitter Feed: http://twitter.com Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/ins... Hi-Res Videos: http://www.hulu.com/edmunds-in side-line Our 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track is painted Bathurst Black. That's Bathurst as in Bathurst 1000, a 620-mile (1,000-km) race on Australia's Mount Panorama Circuit, a 3.9-mile road course with 23 turns, grades of up to 16 percent and a 1.2-mile-long straightaway named Conrod Straight after a spectacular engine failure endured by racer Frank Kleinig in 1939. Only heavily modified Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores in the V8 Supercar series (Australia's take on NASCAR) race at Bathurst today, so there's no obvious connection to the unassuming black clearcoat on our V6-equipped 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track. But as we drive the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, we can imagine Hyundai's chassis engineers fine-tuning the ride and handling of their first rear-wheel-drive coupe on the demanding Bathurst circuit. Probably the cost constraints of building a $30,000 car don't allow for working holidays Down Under. Yet the 2010 Genesis Coupe isn't some soggy two-door version of the Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan. Instead you'll find a very capable chassis underneath the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track's arresting bodywork. Hyundai's sport coupe might not be track-ready out of the box, but it doesn't wither when we pitch it into Bathurst-like turns on lumpy two-lane roads.

Cooler than Scion? Nissan Cube S Full Test
MORE NISSAN CUBE @ INSIDELINE.COM: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FullTests/articleId=142466?tid= edmunds.il.home.photopanel..1.* If you want to find out everything you need to know about the 2009 Nissan Cube S, just pull into In-N-Out Burger. We're living in a drive-thru world, and the Cube is scaled to suit; a little self-contained habitat where life comes to you in a warm paper bag pushed through the driver side window. There in the line at In-N-Out, you've got a panoramic view of your world — neon colors, flashing lights and the big board with all your dining options. There's no reason to hurry, since you're already where you want to be. Best of all, there's always someplace to put your stuff. A bin, a box, a shelf, a slot with bungee cords. A sliding, folding, tumbling collection of seats that you put together like a puzzle. You never fumble around when you're trying to put something down, because the perfect spot always magically comes to hand. The fact that the 2009 Nissan Cube S is self-propelled is just a kind of unexpected bonus.

GM Fixes Solstice? Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe
MORE SOLSTICE COUPE @ INSIDELINE.COM: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Followup/articleId=142586?tid=e dmunds.il.home.photopanel..4.* Our hopes were high following the debut of the 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe at the 2008 New York Auto Show last year. We had not forgotten the ergonomic shortcomings of the Solstice. Nor had its functional limitations slipped our minds. It was mechanically the same curvaceous Solstice that had made us swoon in 2006. Only now it had a bitchin' hardtop. So here we stand again with hearts racing and gaze locked on the 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe. The GXP offers you 260 horsepower from its turbocharged Ecotec inline-4 and big tires to put the power to good use, so it's a lot more serious than the standard Solstice coupe. Its angled roof gives the coupe an angry, menacing stance unmatched by the roadster. This is the car we secretly want to like. In the back of our minds, we hope it's different from the 2006 Pontiac Solstice we lived with for a year in our long-term fleet. And perhaps it's a measure of the intensity of this hope that our disappointment is so devastating.

Drifter! Rhys Millen Hyundai Genesis Drifting
MORE RHYS MILLEN DRIFTING @ INSIDELINE.COM: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=146026 Rhys Millen @ Pikes Peak: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfF55LIxZo4 It's not like you think. It's not busy. Or rushed. Or frantic. There's no chopping at the wheel, no exaggerated stabs at the pedals. In fact, it's just the opposite: small, highly calculated and immensely precise inputs direct the Genesis Coupe's trajectory. Rapid but relaxed steering suggestions translate into dramatic changes in direction and speed. Subtle, deliberate prods at the throttle and shifter blur the scenery on one side, then the other. This is cool control. This is engineered elegance. This is drifting done right. This is what it's like to ride in the world's most advanced drift car: Rhys Millen's 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Of course the calm, collected ride inside is in ironic contrast to the violence outside. But we're not surprised. We've ridden with Millen before, during practice for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb years ago and around various rally stages back in American rallying's glory days. Since then he has won the 2008 Red Bull World Drift Championships, the Formula D series title in 2005 and two Tires.com Triple Crown Drift Championships. Not to mention multiple titles at Pikes Peak. That this guy can drive is not the surprising part. What is surprising is the level of preparation it takes to make a drift car competitive in 2009.

2014 Audi RS5 vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 507 Coupe! - Head 2 Head Ep. 51
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman sets out to discover which German hot-rod-personal-luxury-coupe is the best you can get. The 507 Coupe is the last iteration of the W204 C63. With the exception of the very limited-run Black Series, it's the best C63 that AMG has ever done. Under its hood sits a hand-built, 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 good for 507 horsepower. What more do you want? Perhaps something more high-tech, and that's where the Audi RS5 comes in. The sexy coupe from Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm features a 4.2-liter V-8 that spits out 450 hp. That¹s less power than the 507 Coupe makes, true, but the Audi also features AWD, a dual-clutch transmission, bigger wheels and tires, plus a trick torque-vectoring rear differential. Which one is quicker? Which one is more fun to drive? Which one is best? Watch and find out! 2008 Hyundai Tiburon VS 2010 Genesis Coupe In Depth Review and Comparison, Start Up, and Exhausts
Btw, for anyone wondering, I couldn't find a GT to compare unfortunately, so I had to take what I could get. Just about everything you would like to know about the Genesis and the Tiburon, RWD VS FWD, the genesis is an all new model not related to the Tiburon, it may be the new Hyundai Coupe, but it did not "replace" the Tiburon as quoted by Hyundai. (Credit 85ZingoGTR) The Genesis Coupe is larger by 10 inches in comparison to the Tiburon. Also, the Tiburon is a front wheel drive car targeted towards cars like Mitsubishi Eclipse and Toyota Celica while the Genesis Coupe was made to target cars like the Mustang and 370Z. Hyundai plans on introducing the Veloster to replace the Tiburon and join its larger Genesis Coupe brother. My main purpose is to show the efforts and strides that Hyundai has taken for their coupes and performance cars in just a few short years, not necessarily comparing generations of the same model, which like I said before, they are not. In this video I give a full in depth tour review of the 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring and the 2008 Tiburon. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of these cars while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicles themselves. I also show the engines and the details of them, start them up and see how they sound under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of these cars designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicles.
