2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S (585hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (60 fps)
This week I can present to you the full DRIVE & SOUND test with the recently revealed 2015 / 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe delivering 585 hp and 760 Nm of torque through the well known 7-speed AMG SpeedShift. The design of course is a reason for debates, but as I mentioned earlier it really becomes less "frightening" if you are around the car for a couple of days. The overall looks are brutal all the way through, especially with those black 22 inch!!! wheels and 325 tires in the back;) The ride comfort is superb, everything from comfort to race is possible. In a chat with Matthias Malmedie we also agreed on the fact that the high-speed stability really is something that sets this car apart from others....awesome! When watching the acceleration you really need to remember that this particular SUV weighs 2.350 kg and has a huge surface to put against the wind. So 25 sec. to 250 km/h really is amazing. Will a BMW X6M be faster? I'm honestly not sure and maybe I will be able to find out later this year! One other great thing is the fitted AMG Performance Exhaust. All the grunt from 5.5 liter displacement together with those pops and crackles on downshifts....a big, big show! If you LIKE watching this don't hesitate to COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE!
