[Time Attack] - Togethia - Round 1 Cadwell Park 2012

Togethia -- Time Attack Cadwell Park 2012 Togethia Media Services - http://blog.togethia.tv/ - http://togethia.tv/ - Time Attack - http://timeattack.co.uk/ Follow them on Facebook - http://facebook.com/UKTimeAttack -- Fondly nicknamed the 'mini Nürburgring', Cadwell Park is held closely in the heart of many motorsport fans. Located 10 miles north of Horncastle and five miles south of Louth, the Lincolnshire circuit is especially popular with bikers nationwide. For the first time, Cadwell Park will be featuring two rounds of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. The traditional August Bank Holiday weekend is preceded by the first meeting in May. This gives fans the chance to witness some of the world's best riders tackling the infamous 'Mountain' section, where bikes frequently get airborne, twice in 2010. Also new in 2010 was the first Modifed Live meeting to be held at the circuit on 1 August. Fans of Modified Cars in the North East were be able to experience the thrill of the Time Attack series around the Lincolnshire circuit for the first time. As the circuit's reputation continues to build, there are an increasing number of club car events taking place at the circuit. The 2.17 mile circuit will feature meetings from the Historic and Classic Sports Car Clubs, the British Automobile Racing Club, the MG Car Club and MSVR. The ever-popular Vintage Sports Car Festival will again return to the circuit in June, along with a vintage motorcycle event. -- What an awesome start to the 2012 Time Attack season! After unpredictable weather and some unfortunate reliability issues Round 1 Cadwell Park has delivered some very unusual results. Next month takes us to Knockhill circuit in Scotland for Round 2 -- will we finally see some sunshine or will it be another unpredictable day? We were established in 1999 and since then we have been working on sports cars from the major manufacturers including Honda, Subaru, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. In our first video of "From the Street to the Track" we meet up with Eurospec driver's: Christopher Welshy Hamer and Romain Levesque. As they prepare for Round 3 Time Attack 2012 Round 3 was a emotional Roller coaster for us at Brands Hatch with Both cars supporting new editions from Forge Motorsport and the Mitsubishi having changed for the Tubular Rear Subframe altering the rear end of The Evo VI. Romain and Chris had things to prove this weekend after Romain's big crash at Knockhill and Chris choosing to miss Knockhill for much-needed development after his engine fail at Cadwell. Due to the logistics of Brands We have a bit of tradition, to drive the TA cars down and give the locals something different to look at on the Roads. Sunday well what can we say it was wet and Romain and Chris both struggled with the traction. The Evo was a lot lighter this time round and Chris was really struggling to put any sort of power down supporting his new setup. In the final it all came together but the Evo once again was misfiring. Romain was mega Quick in His FWD CRX and showed up a lot of the 4WD boys. Romain and Chris went out in the final and did the job so as a team we had a great weekend and ready for TOTB and the next round of TA.' [Time Attack] - Togethia - Round 4/5 Anglesey 2012
Togethia -- Time Attack Round 4/5 Anglesey 2012 Togethia Media Services - http://facebook.togethia.tv - Time Attack - http://timeattack.co.uk/ Follow them on Facebook - http://facebook.com/UKTimeAttack -- Set on the west coast of Anglesey, overlooking the Irish Sea and the Snowdonia mountain range beyond, Anglesey Circuit provides visitors with a challenging and exciting circuit in a breathtaking location. It is one of the few circuits to be designed and constructed with an entirely new concept. We have taken full advantage of the undulating landscape and created a circuit with imaginative cambers, a blend of fast sections, technically challenging mid range corners complimented with two hairpin bends and a 10 degree banked corner. The alternative circuit configurations enable Anglesey Circuit to offer the ideal facility for a wide variety of events. -- With just a few hours rest the UK Time Attack Championship is back at Anglesey for Round 5 -- same venue, same competitors and everything still to play for. Saturday took everyone by surprise with scorching sunshine for the first time this year, but it's a very different outlook for Sunday morning. There's no rain (touch wood) but the track's been left slightly damp and greasy, not to mention a much cooler temperature making it that bit more difficult to get the tyres switched on. Although the same venue, Round 5 has switched to the Anglesey 'Coastal' track, a shorter 1.5-mile layout which is even faster than the 'International' setup yesterday. In 2011 Paul Doyle set the fastest time overall with a 1:14.873 on Pirelli P-Zero road tyres; we're expecting that record to be broken thanks to the new tyre rules, but just by how much is anyone's guess. [Time Attack] - Togethia - Round 3 Brands Hatch 2012
Togethia -- Time Attack Brands Hatch 2012 Togethia Media Services - http://blog.togethia.tv/ - http://togethia.tv/ - Time Attack - http://timeattack.co.uk/ Follow them on Facebook - http://facebook.com/UKTimeAttack -- One of the world's most iconic motor racing venues, Brands Hatch will play host to some of the biggest international events on the calendar in 2011. In addition to hosting top international meetings, Brands Hatch will be visited by the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship, the British F3/GT Championships, the Masters Historic Festival, the Truck Superprix, Modified Live and many club car and bike events. First used for grass track bike racing in 1926, Brands Hatch is a firm fans' favourite and has been the scene of some momentous occasions in motor racing history - from Ayrton Senna's first ever car victory and Nigel Mansell's first Grand Prix win. The likes of Stirling Moss, Jim Clark and Emerson Fittipaldi are among the many drivers to have raced and won at Brands Hatch over the years and the circuit is as popular today as anytime in its illustrious past. A natural amphitheatre, Brands Hatch is located 20 miles outside Central London, just off the M25. -- Just a few weeks on from Knockhill the UK Time Attack Championship heads back down south to a circuit guaranteed to shake up the standings, Brands Hatch. This 1.2-mile circuit is a firm favourite for many of the drivers and in 2011 delivered some of the closest racing of the entire season! With the first two rounds delivering unpredictable weather we've got our fingers crossed for the rarity that is British sunshine, but everyone knows rain is almost guaranteed -- in fact nearly every team is out on Saturday's practice session to try and get to grips with this circuit's grip in the wet ahead of Sunday. [Time Attack] - Togethia - Round 6/7 Snetterton 2012
Togethia -- Time Attack Round 6/7 Snetterton 2012 Togethia Media Services - http://facebook.togethia.tv - Time Attack - http://timeattack.co.uk/ Follow them on Facebook - http://facebook.com/UKTimeAttack -- Snetterton has enjoyed a renaissance since MSV took over in 2004, with radically transformed spectator facilities and a busy racing calendar. One of the fastest tracks in the UK, the Norfolk circuit is located 10 miles north-east of Thetford on the A11. First used as a racing circuit in 1951 by the Aston Martin Owner's Club, Snetterton has become renowned over the past half century for its long straights and high speed corners. Cars and bikes are often up to four abreast down the famous Revett Straight! -- This is it -- the UK Time Attack season finale is now upon us. It's been a dramatic weekend already with multiple casualties including Chris Hamer and David Leigh, not to mention poor results from Ronnie Amis, Gavin Renshaw and other championship contenders which has left the door wide open for their rivals with just one final race. For round 7 we've switched to the 2.0-mile '200' layout -- a shorter, faster Snetterton layout with just 8 turns compared to 13 on Saturday. This should favour those big-horsepower competitors, but with torrential rain expected from lunchtime onwards it's going to come down to driver skill and car setup to master the conditions. Home built Time Attack GT-R
We recently caught up with Mark at Mallala testing the new aero and setup on his R32 GT-R. Although the front diff was on it's way out and the rear splitter wasn't finished, he still managed some half decent lap times. We're looking forward to seeing Mark progress more with the car and hopefully watching him at World Time Attack some time in the future.
