Triple Black Attack: 1970 440 6-Pack 'Cuda - BIG MUSCLE
Each and every muscle car enthusiast has that one experience that has helped define the way in which they view the automobile. For Northern California's John Cross that experience came by way of riding in the back of his cousins 1970 440 6-Pack Plymouth 'Cuda when he was a kid. It was a car that provided him with memories, stories and of course, a goal - that being, to one day own the very car which got his engine running all those years ago. It's now 2012, 42 years after that first faithful ride in the very 'Cuda you're about to see. This time however it resides in John's garage, not his cousins, which can mean only one thing... Sometimes dreams do come true.

1970 PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER SUPER BIRD - SUPER FOR SURE
Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes another rare possibly an unrestored car. And here it is..........a seventy Super Bird with low miles and one of only 1,920 produced. Costing $ 4,298 it contains under the hood a 440 cid, 4 barrel, 375 horse engine. The huge spoiler mounted on the rear was Chrysler's attempt to superspeed their stock car racers. The front had an extended shovel nose and a that tall rear stabilizer / spoiler. NASCAR required aero specials like this to be nominally available at the dealer. In '69 Dodge Charger Daytona offered their special and then Plymouth offered the Super Bird in '70. This Bird attracted Richard Petty back to Plymouth where he won 5 of 8 big track stock car victories of Super Birds in 1970. This Bird is just incredible. It's virtually brand new. Never restored, just stored and maintained. with very low mileage. It's all original, still after 41 years. Enjoy perusing this jewel.
