393 Cleveland Stroker - First Start
This is the first start up of a 393 Cleveland Stroker that I've been
meticulously building over the last several months. It's been a great
learning experience for me as I was able to not only plan and assemble the
components for the engine, but design and build the test stand as well.
Here are the specs for this engine:
Edelbrock dual plane aluminum intake manifold -- For run in only, switching
to Weiand X-celerator 2V that has been converted to FI for later.
Edelbrock Alloy heads -- CNC Ported by Cam Research in Englewood, CO
1.73:1 ratio Harland Sharp Rocker Arms
Probe 393C stroker kit (10669-030-PS-F393C):
4340 Forged steel crank, 3.85" stroke, Nitride Hardened
Probe H-beam forged steel rods, 5.956 long
Probe forged pistons, 16cc dish, 2618-T61 Aluminum, Full Floating

expensive machine work, and it needs to be re-machined now. Once he gets
his finances in order (and he pays off his truck), the build will

Alky-Burning Cub Cadet V8 tractor-Pull Monster Ford 351 Cleveland
Paul Jones dropped an alcohol-fuel Ford 351 Cleveland V8 running 15:1 CR
into his Cub Cadet riding mower. And why not? It fits, doesn't it? Built
for pulling contests, but also handy when you need the lawn done and you
don't have a lot of time. Just listen to that thing bark. Recorded at the
Genesee Valley Antique Auto Club show on Aug 1, 2010 on the grounds of the
Rochester (NY) Institute of Technology.
