Official Ram Trucks Super Bowl Commercial "Farmer"

And on the eighth day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a caretaker." So God made a farmer. God said, "I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the field, milk cows again, eat supper, then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board." So God made a farmer. God said, "I need somebody willing to sit up all night with a newborn colt and watch it die, then dry his eyes and say,'Maybe next year,' I need somebody who can shape an ax handle from an ash tree, shoe a horse with hunk of car tire, who can make a harness out hay wire, feed sacks and shoe scraps. Who, during planting time and harvest season will finish his 40-hour week by Tuesday noon and then, paining from tractor back, put in another 72 hours." So God made the farmer. God said, "I need somebody strong enough to clear trees and heave bales, yet gentle enough to yean lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink-comb pullets, who will stop his mower for an hour to splint the leg of a meadowlark." It had to be somebody who'd plow deep and straight and not cut corners. Somebody to seed, weed, feed, breed, and brake, and disk, and plow, and plant, and tie the fleece and strain the milk, . Somebody who'd bale a family together with the soft, strong bonds of sharing, who would laugh, and then sigh and then reply with smiling eyes when his son says that he wants to spend his life doing what Dad does. "So God made a farmer."

Ram Trucks Commercial "Farmer" Long Version
The "Year of the Farmer" may have formally ended, but that doesn't mean that Ram Trucks is any less dedicated to the hard working men and women that live the American farming way of life. Join us as we continue to celebrate America's heartland with this extended version of our "Farmer" commercial.

Ram Trucks Torture Testing: Extreme Heat
There's only one reason the Ram Trucks engineering team heads out to the Mojave desert. Extreme hot weather testing. This trip was no disappointment. The Ram Trucks team pushed our trucks to the absolute limit not only demanding they perform in some of the most extreme temperatures on the planet, but also demanding they do it pulling maxed out loads up punishing grades. Not satisfied to just check the box the team even brought in a formidable opponent for a little not-so-friendly competition at the Davis Dam grade, one of the country's most punishing places to tow. We don't want to spoil the ending, but let's just say our friends at Ford Trucks were a little late to the party at Davis Dam, over 2 minutes late to be exact.

Ram Trucks Torture Testing: Extreme Cold
How do we know our trucks are ready to take on whatever mother nature has to throw at them? It's simple, we've already put them through far worse than anything nature has to offer. Welcome to Houghton, MI directions here state drive to the end of the earth then travel 3 more miles. Houghton is home to subzero temperatures and is regularly blanketed in snow averaging 260 inches per year. What better winter playground to test our Ram Trucks, and our engineers. Learn how technology and good-old-fashioned Ram Trucks toughness allow our trucks to perform even in the most extreme conditions.

Ram Trucks Great Things
Once upon a time, before games were cancelled due to rain, we didn't cook our meat with self igniting charcoal. Thankfully, there are still some of us that believe in hard work, determination, and GUTS. GUTS, after all, is what brings us great things.

Ram Caves Minnesota with Bob Vila and Dan
A Ram Trucks fan as dedicated as Rachel's dad, Dan, deserves nothing less than a true Ram Cave to match. So we sent a team with American home improvement legend, Bob Vila, to their house in Prior Lake, Minnesota to make sure he got a great space for all of his Ram Trucks projects. We couldn't agree more with Dan's feelings on his renovated Ram Cave, "To work on a quality product I need a quality shop and now I have it." The Road to 25 Miles Per Gallon
When we set out to build the new 2013 Ram 1500, we knew what we had to do to succeed: increase efficiency without sacrificing capability. Lighter, stronger materials and an 8-speed transmission (an industry first for light duty trucks) help make sure you get the most mpg without losing any muscle.

While there, Timothy and our construction crew gave Lee's garage a Ram Trucks style overhaul. Replacing windows, installing cabinets, and installing drywall. Lee and his wife Dawn were great and we are happy we could provide an awesome space for their family. Be sure to check out our other Ram Caves renovations.

Ram Commercial — Man Made Drama
Man wasn't supposed to drive on water, or turn nature into power. Night wasn't supposed to look like Noon. And we definitely weren't supposed to be able to haul a best-in-class 30,000 lbs up by the bootstraps, but with best-in-class 850 lb-ft of torque Ram can. This is the full line of new Ram Commercial vehicles. Here's to the next frontier Man isn't supposed to take on. GUTS. GLORY. RAM.
