DIY: Volkswagen Key Fob Battery Replacement & Disassembly
Video tutorial on how to replace the battery and complete disassemble of a Volkswagen key fob. All you need to slip apart the case is a flat screw (standard) screw driver or possibly a thin coin. The disassemble includes how to open the case, remove the battery, circuit board, and buttons. This takes a Lithium battery, model number CR2032. This keyless remote is found in the years of 2002 to 2009 and the models include Beetle, Golf, Jetta, Bora, and Passat. Part number HLO 1J0 959 753 DC & HLO 1J0 959 753 AM. Top Fuel Nitro Motorcycle Import vs Harley - Larry "Spiderman" Mcbride 5.83et @ 232mph
Dragbike Live was on location at the Manufacturers Cup Finals held November 12-14 2010 at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Georgia when Top Fuel Nitro motorcycle legendary drag racer Larry "Spiderman" Mcbride against V-Twin Top Fuel Harley rider Tommy Grimes aboard the Ray Price Top Fuel Nitro entry met in the final round. Mcbride ran an incredible 5.830 elapsed time at 232.75 miles per hour for the win! This was a historic final round,marking the first time a V-Twin Top Fuel Nitro burner would face off against an import Top Fuel Nitro Methane injected drag bike.

Bill Bagshaw's NHRA Pro Stock "Red Light Bandit" 1970 Hemi Challenger
This 1970 Hemi Challenger was owned and raced by Bill Bagshaw in NHRA Pro Stock drag racing from 1970 to 1973. The car made its debut in 1970 at the NHRA U.S. Nationals, and won "Best Engineered" at the event. It was featured in the November 1970 issue of Hot Rod magazine. John Gastman of Roanoke Motors Chrysler/Dodge in Roanoke, IL owns the Red Light Bandit. He purchased it from a private owner as part of a package deal back in 1994. In January, 2011, Gastman called on Bucky Hess, and his son Travis Hess, at Bucky's Ltd in Martinsburg, WV to restore this historic race car. Bill Bagshaw, the original owner and racer, provided an enormous amount of information to Gastman and Bucky during the restoration of the Challenger. Bagshaw became part of the restoration team when he agreed to rebuild the Red Light Bandit's 426 Hemi motor at Ron Shaver's Racing Engines in Torrance, CA. Using pictures from magazine articles and build pics, Bucky's fabricator, Cole McAllister, expertly returned the body to 1970 condition. The talented artist Nelson Grimes re-created the lettering to "as raced" appearance, using both gold leaf and white gold leaf materials. The final product is stunning.

Some pictures that I took of Pro Stockers back in the '70s and '80s along with a clip from the Diamond P video "Decade Of Thrills" Note... the last photo, at 6:43, before the video clip is one that I took from the grandstands at the '83 US Nationals showing Lee Shepherd in the lead at that point. But as the video shows, Bob Glidden drove around him to take the title. Great Racin'!!
