2013 Shelby GT500
When it comes to bang for your buck, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 hits it spot-on. With a 662-horsepower supercharged V-8, Recaro seats, adjustable shocks and a tweaked exterior, the 2013 Shelby GT500 stands out in the crowd of muscle cars and high-performance exotics. Getting all that power to the rear wheels can be tricky, yet the GT500's nimbleness wins positive remarks from Cars.com reviewer Mike Hanley.
2013 Chevrolet Spark
Consumers might shy away from Chevy's tiny Spark because of its compact
dimensions (and awful pink color, in our case), but looks are deceiving,
says Cars.com reviewer David Thomas. The Spark is roomier than it looks and
its small four-cylinder engine is also peppier than expected. The Spark is
at home in the city, but it's not very comfortable on the highway, where
the ride really suffers, Thomas says.
2013 Ford Mustang GT
The Ford Mustang gets a few
updates for the 2013 model year, which keeps the model competitive with its
more thoroughly modern competition, like the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The new model year brings
a V-8 GT with a little more horsepower and styling
tweaks to all Mustangs.
Watch Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays go over some of the finer points.
Note: Premium Fuel is Recommended, not Regular.
2013 Subaru BRZ
The Subaru BRZ is not only a great-looking sports car loaded with available
features, but it's also a remarkably fun, well-balanced coupe. However,
it's got a tiny backseat and overall firm ride, as well as a $1,300 price
premium over its twin, the Scion FR-S. Is it worth it? Cars.com reviewer
Joe Wiesenfelder takes a close look at one of today's true affordable
sports cars and explains why the answer is yes.
2013 Ram 2500 CNG Filling
With gas prices on the rise, Cars.com Executive Editor Joe Wiesenfelder
takes a look at a vehicle that runs on compressed natural gas. Filling up
the Ram 2500 CNG can cost twice as less compared with regular gas, but the
troublesome filler plug area and the rarity of CNG pumps may be something
2013 SHELBY GT500 launch control modes
There isn't very much information on the web about the launch control
system in the 2013 GT500 so I made a video as an end user on mine to
explain the 4 different modes and real world application.
