Fiat 500 with Subaru engine

This is a Fiat 500 modified by ZCars Ltd to the specification of a customer from Greece. The design brief was to fix his 500 in an interesting way so that it would have more useable power to enable him to drive his family around town in comfort. Whilst he was tempted to have the Suzuki Hayabusa conversion ZCars also produce he decided that he wanted to keep the rear seats. As that is where the 200bhp motorcycle would be installed that option was ruled out!
The engine is an EA81 Subaru engine (1800cc flat 4) which is quite an old engine although still widely used as an aviation engine we are told. This engine was used due to its simplicity, power and torque characteristics and not least its size and shape. This was mated to the original gearbox with clutch and drive shafts up rated. Also up-rated were the brakes with discs all around and the suspension at the front. The transverse leaf spring was removed and adjustable alloy dampers were used with coil springs. A new front subframe was fitted to allow the use of wishbone suspension arms.
Obviously as it is a water cooled engine, radiators were required. This was inserted into the front boot space (trunk) and water pipes run underneath the car. A new stainless steel Exhaust finished the conversion and new wheels and tyres were fitted as an optional extra.

2012 Fiat 500 Abarth First Drive Review: The Everyman Ferrari

Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari - 180cv, 225km/h
I have filmed the very first debut of the new yellow 500 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, this version is even more rare due to the Giallo Modena paintjob, only 299 units will be made in this colour! The car is fitted with paddle shifters, Record Monza Exhaust, racing seats by Sabelt, carbon fiber and more exclusive options for this Abarth.

RWD Abarth 500 Test Drive in Monaco streets!
I went for a test drive during the world debut of the incredible Motore Centrale R230 made by Lucarelli-Monza and Aznom around Monaco Principaute. It's a massively tuned 500 Abarth with important and expensive modifications such as the middle engine position and rear wheel drive system. The R230 has been lightweighted of 50kg and the power increased up to 230hp, so now accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7s and a top speed of 245 km/h!

RWD Abarth 500 Drifting and Burnouts!
I had fun with the Motore Centrale R230, a massively tuned 500 Abarth with the RWD system and the middle engine position. This car is made in collaboration with Lucarelli-Monza and Aznom companies. The R230 has been lightweighted of 50kg and the power increased up to 230hp, so now accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7s and a top speed of 245 km/h. There are much more mods like the Tar-Ox brakes system, Bilstein B14 race suspensions, new turbo and more things.

Abarth 500 Assetto Corse Exhaust LOUD Sound!
I took a video to a friend's Abarth 500 Esseesse which is decatted with Assetto Corse Exhaust. Video shows onboard scenes, accelerations and loud revs. That's definitely the loudest Abarth i have ever seen!

Abarth 500 LOUD Sound - Cold Start and Rev
A video of me starting and revving my 500 Abarth. First you can hear the cold and loud start up, quick view of the engine, after a little drive to warm up the engine i went back and started to rev showing the speedometer and the back of the car. Just listen to the lovely crackling at low revs and the backfire at high revs! The car has straight central Exhaust pipe, stainless steel muffler with two little silencers and a 200 cells kat. Sounds so great for a little 1.4 turbo engine!

Abarth for Dealers (Fiat 500 Special Edition) - Accelerations in Puerto Banus, Spain
I spotted this Ferrari Fiat 500 Abarth for Dealers; the limited edition £30,000 Fiat 500 in Puerto Banus, Spain. The car is extremely limited in numbers and this was the first one I have seen and I actually thought it was quite a fun little bit of kit!
