First Boeing 747-800 at Düsseldorf ! Very fast approach and a water canon salute.
D-ABYA was the first B747-800 which was delivered to Lufthansa. Today it arrived at Düsseldorf after a very short flight from Munich. It` s a promotion tour to present the newest airplane type of DLH to all employers. The Approach was pretty fast and this was the reason why the B748 needed the whole runway to slow down although it was a ferry flight. Of course the fire brigade welcomed the new Boeing with a water canon. A video compilation demonstrating the 2-step "launch control" feature of my custom VAST performance Stage 3 Frankenturbo tune. When the vehicle is stopped, the rev limit is set at 4,400 RPM for consistent launching. While holding this RPM, the turbos can produce up to about 6 psi with no load. With this setup, 0-60 mph times in the high 3's are obtainable with a quick 1-2 shift. The S4 also has piggie downpipes and a Borla single 3 inch Exhaust system. Some bonus footage of a coworker who had never ridden in a semi-fast car before is also included. :-) *edit* Unfortunately the girl in this video has passed away of Cystic Fibrosis (4/20/2013). RIP.
