My new Porsche 928 racer....1979 5 speed.....2nd day in new car....still sorting out...243whp, 2719lbs (wet no driver)....racing against Wilson in his custom Miata racer and a bunch of Honda Civics, plus a 911.....the Honda's have a surprising amount of HP....I'll get them next race once my slicks and alignment are all set the way I like....

Porsche 928's racing with NCRC at Thunderhill on 4-7-12. Race 1 start and best lap of 2:07.16....not bad considering new to me car, old Hoosiers and suspension not setup the way I like...

My 1987 Porsche 928 s4. Fun little car; almost wish I hadn't sold it....The 5 liter 32-valve engine produces 320 horsepower and that great V8 rumble. This car held the 1986 record for the fastest production car with a top speed of 171mph!

This video shows our record-breaking land speed run in the Porsche 928. It combines in-car video, starting line, and a drive-by video that was being shot at the 3-mile mark. You can hear Carl testing the limits of available traction 3 times.... as he pushes into the throttle until the tires break, then modulates and pushes in again. There is no lifting out of the throttle at these speeds unless you want to go 'round! Final speed attained for the world 928 record was 216.63537 MPH

Euro Porsche 928 Supercharged, Eaton M112 Supercar.
Porsche 928 5 speed, with an Eaton Supercharger from a 2004 Mustang Cobra. 4.7 l 16v V8 from a 1983 928. Intake and Exhaust ported to the max...stock cams for now. Exhaust manifolds from a 1985 928 which have a little better flow, and dual Exhaust. Everything on top of the block has been custom made or relocated. I misspoke...the inter cooler system is liquid to air, also the fuel rails are from a turbo 924, used them because the stock 83 928 has barb connected injectors..the rails from the 924 use a much more common style of injector..I used injectors from a 90s model 4cyl turbo Volvo, 32# injectors. I eliminated the air conditioning and all emissions equipment... smog pump, cats, ext. The inter cooler that I used is a heater core from a 928. Just a ridiculously fast car...I would be glad to answer any questions you may have. Thanks

928 Estate vs a Camaro SS at Thunderhill.... Classic example of "driving your mirrors".... in this example the low HP car wins.....but the Camaro did manage a nice save & did not spin....
