Sehr Performance / Randi's 400 Pontiac
Randi came to us with a 400 Pontiac project for his 1968 Firebird. He didn't want to go crazy on the build but he wanted something that would give him performance that is better than original.
With that goal in mind Scott did some custom porting on his heads, upgraded his valve train and went with a Custom COMP cam and lifters and aluminum roller rockers. We maintained his complete original rotating assembly but had to re-balance his crankshaft, it had been poorly balanced sometime in the past and was out by 127 grams on one end and 181 grams on the other. A single plane intake with a 780 Quick Fuel carb got it breathing and the fire is lit with a Flamethrower ignition package. Custom cut and fitted 8mm plug wires are standard equipment here at Sehr. Headman custom coated headers will be added at installation time.
The results were a satisfying 543.5 Hp @ 5500rpm and torque reading of 519.8 @ 5400rpm. Corrected to sea level the numbers are 577 Hp and 551 Tq with nearly 400 lb of torque at 3500rpm.

1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
This is my 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 project-Plans for this car are drum to disc brakes upgrades first! You can hear the old drums squeeking as I brake! suspension, interior, and house of kolor candy apple red paint with black rally stripes! Audio system and interior are already being worked on. Also im planning to lower it 2 inches all around. Im debating on wether to paint the wheels black or match them kandy apple red? or try to combine both black and candy red for the rims? What do you think?
Engine is a freshly rebuilt 400 block, .060 bored, hooker headers, holley carb, holley electric fuel pump, and dual flowmasters. For now not focusing on the engine but I've been thinking about rebuilding a faster 400 and upgrading the automatic transmission to a manual shift 5 speed. Not trying to build a car show quality or a superfast car, mostly a cruiser and once in a while fun at the drag strip.

64 Nova Comp Cams 280H Magnum Cam
A short video of my 64 Nova. Just got done breaking in and tuning the freshly rebuilt 355. My 10 yr. old son helped me pull it and turned all the wrenches rebuilding it. Mild engine with flat tops, forged crank, pink rods, 434 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves and some port work, Comp. Cams 280H magnum flat tappet hydraulic, Edelbrock RPM AirGap, Holley 650 dp, Msd dist. and ign., 3000 stall, 4.10 gears. As you can see it is very dirty. You also get a glimpse of my other pride and joy 66 nova which is filthy also. My other videos show it, lots more power in that one.
