racing my pump gas 9:1 compression 331 Mustang at farmington dragway in street class. its still not tuned yet, this was the first night out. the car ran a 8.03 at 82mph killing about 9mph i still broke out .07
the chevelle ran a 7.12 at 94mph
the Mustang needs more gear, doesnt get moving until half track. should go mid-high 11s in the 1/4. with a gear change it should be running mid-low 7s in the 1/8th...and it should pick up a few tenths too when I get some less restrictive Exhaust on it.

This 383 Small Block Chevy build was started when we were given only the
bare block. Everything else was built from scratch from the ground up.
Engine components include: Scat crankshaft and rods, Icon forged pistons,
Airflow Research aluminum cylinder heads (with 195cc intake runners),
Edelbrok Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifold, hydrolic roller camshaft,
and aluminum Roller Rockers.
