Ford Mercury 1951 desenvolvido por Tarso Marques, com mais de 480 cavalos
em um motor V8 equipado com nitro. Chassis modificados, sistema de
suspensão a ar com controle interno, rodas aro 20, teto rebaixado,
faróis do Jaguar, lanternas da Harley Davidson. Depois de 1 ano e 6 meses
de trabalho árduo, o resultado é excelente e compensador.

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my
wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I
know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was
installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is
My 1974 Karmann Ghia
This is my 1974 Ghia. It was a hunk of junk when I first purchased it. Five
years later after taking it compleatly apart it's now my favorite toy. 87mm
pistons too. The gauges on the dash are VDO, but I purchased three "BUS"
fuel gauges from junkyards. I removed the chromes rings and installed them
on the new VDOs. Now they match the originals on the dash.

It is a heartbreaker of a car, a real dreamboat and possibly the most
beautiful VW ever built. However the sporty coupe does have one small
drawback. Its design is far racier than its driving performance.The first
Ghias were fitted wtih 30 horsepower VW Beetle
engines, while later models got 50 horsepower motors. Still,
when the Karmann Ghia was introduced back in 1955 this was more than enough
to keep vehicles like the Goggomobil and BMW Isetta in check. During it's
close to 20 years in production, some 443,000 Ghias were sold. Today this
classic car has nothing left to prove. We take a relaxing drive in this
stylish milestone of automotive history.
