Forged Performance: #003 Lexus LFA
As many of you know, one of our GT-R clients also owns the first retail delivered LFA in the world, affectionately labeled #003. The first two cars went to Toyota insiders. Roy has become a good friend over the years and unlike many supercar owners, he actually uses his cars on track and on the street. His LFA is not a garage queen by any means. Every now and then he gives me the unique privilege of driving his LFA on track and on one such occasion at Road Atlanta we decided to bring Zak Kerbelis with us to do some filming. It's not often I am handed the keys to a $400K irreplaceable super car and told to kill it and fortunately we had Zak on hand to film. By way of introduction, Zak is only 18 years old, but has produced some of the most amazing videos for Formula D and has quite a talent for film and video editing.
In addition to Roy, I wanted to give special appreciation to Mark and Maria of Chin Motorsports for graciously providing the track time, and another good friend and fellow GT-R owner Paul McElroy for providing the chase car footage.
Enjoy, and we'll see you all on the track again soon!
Regards,
Sharif Abdelbaset

Forged Performance: Lexus LFA hot lapping Road Atlanta
Sharif Abdelbaset, the Principle at Forged Performance, was given the unique opportunity to drive the first retail delivered Lexus LFA on track. The owner of the car, Roy, is a longtime friend and client of Sharif's company.
Funny - People Chase Down Lexus LFA - Start Up and Loud Revs + Chrome Alloys
In Co-Operation With 13sFaustino...
http://www.youtube.com/user/13sfaustino
This the brand new Lexus LFA and it simply looks like a full on race car with all those air vents and intakes. The huge revs of this car are simply epic and you just can't miss hearing the Lexus LFA. The Lexus LFA has a Yamaha built and Exhaust tuned 4.8 Liter V10 that produces 556 horsepower and Revs up to 9000 RPM! Also at there were some persons chasing the LFA, I think they really wanted to get a video of the LFA, all I know is that they are true fans of the car. Hope you enjoy the video and subscribe! Thanks
2012 Lexus LFA Dyno Run - Forged Performance - Marietta, GA - 11/5/2011
I believe this is the first Lexus LFA to ever be put on a Dyno.
2012 Lexus LFA
VIN # 003
It pulled 451 horsepower at Forged Performance in Marietta, GA. on their Dyno Dynamics Dyno. This Dyno is known to read quite a bit lower than the other Dynos in the area. Had this been on another local Dyno, my best guess is close to 500 horsepower to the wheels.
If you watch behind the car in the video, you can see the peoples hair and clothes blowing from the massive amounts of Exhaust this car puts out.
Road Atlanta Corvette Z06 chasing MTI Z06
This was taken at Road Atlanta running with NASA on March 16, 2008. I am driving a relatively stock C5 Z06 Corvette trying to keep up with a highly modified MTI Corvette Z06. I was able to keep up in the corners, but it had a lot of power to pull away on the straights. I am on Nitto 555R2 tires that are now due for replacement. The owner of the MTI Z06 is a very nice guy and has a very cool car. It was a lot of fun trying to keep up.
2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S, first presentation
2014 Porsche 911 turbo S, first presentation. World presentation in Moscow.03.05.13.
Porsche has revealed today the 911 turbo and turbo S, ahead of a public debut scheduled for September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Following several reports and batches of spy shots, the latest 911 turbo lineup has arrived. turbo and turbo S make use of a six-cylinder, 3.8-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine delivering 520 HP (383 kW) in the 911 turbo and 560 HP (412 kW) in the 911 turbo S variant. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK with auto stop/start function which has slashed off fuel consumption by 16 percent to 9.7 liters / 100 km (24.2 mpg US or 29.1 mpg UK).
The 911 turbo equipped with Sport Chrono Package will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds, while the turbo S is 0.1s quicker. Both of them are capable of reaching a top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h).
Length has increased by 40mm to 4490mm, while width is also up by 28mm compared to Carrera 4 models to 1878mm. Porsche has also stretched the wheelbase by 100mm to 2450mm, while the front and rear tracks are also longer than before. Both models ride on 20-inch alloy wheels but only the S version has hub wheel locks. The turbo S also gains full LED headlights with four-point daytime running lights and camera-based main beam control (optionally available for turbo).
Just like the 911 GT3, the turbo variants have four-wheel steering which help the cars lap Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes 30 seconds with standard production tires fitted. Both of them have a retractable three-stage rear spoiler and a deployable rear wing with three adjustable wing positions.
Scheduled to reach the market in September, the 2014 Porsche 911 turbo has a starting price in Germany of 162,055 EUR while the 911 turbo S begins at 195,256 EUR. VAT and country-specific taxes included.
