Chris Ireland's Indian, Bonneville Speed Week 2012
This is a longer version of my 1942 Indian Scout at Bonneville. She was
shipped over with 5 other Brit bikes. I did 120mph on the Dyno in the UK at sea level but
the Salt's a great leveller & I manage 81.5mph, but still not bad for a 70
year old sidevalve & it put a huge grin on my face! It took 2 years to save
for this & I'll be back in 2 years time, as I now have "Salt Fever".

Bonneville is an epic thing that brings out all kinds of speed contraptions
and it was an honor to ride an old 1986 Honda VFR750 in the
Run-Whatcha-Brung class and pretend to be like my childhood heroes.
If I can do it, anyone can." — Jamie Robinson
