MuscleCar Tuner Showdown: HPE650/SuperSnake/SpeedfactorySRT8
We've compared nearly every combination of modern American muscle cars on
the market. Now it's time for the ultimate showdown - Hennessey's Camaro HPE650 vs Shelby's GT500
Super Snake vs Speedfactory's Challenger SRT8. We head to the Dyno, the test track and the
racetrack to determine which of these tuned pony cars reigns supreme.

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang vs Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
We put the high end MUSCLE CARS from Dodge, Ford, and Chevy head to head to
head to see who can take the title of the best muscle car in America!
Dodge brings the Challenger SRT Hellcat to the table.
Chevrolet is fighting with the Camaro ZL1 and the Camaro Z/28.
Ford recently announced their Shelby GT350 with it's flat plane crankshaft.
Hi guys, It’s Rylan with this week’s News Refresh.
Since the introduction of the Ford Mustang in 1964, three American
companies have been battling to build the best muscle car in America.
Ford, Chevy, and Dodge.
And now, all 3 have contenders in the high-end muscle car segment. But
which one will take the title for best muscle car? Let’s find out.
First on the track is the Camaro ZL1.
With 580 horsepower on tap, it’s
Chevy’s most powerful Camaro ever made.
Pop the hood and you’ll find a 6.2L Supercharged V8 with 556 lb. ft. of
torque and a fuel economy rating of -
cut to Camaro on the
The ZL1 hits a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds, a 12 second quarter mile, and a
top speed of 184 mph!
And with a price tag of $55,505 the Camaro is comfortably in the
middle of the two other options.
Taking on the ZL1 is the Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT.
It’s also got a Supercharged 6.2L V8, except the HEMI produces 707 horsepower and 650
lb/ft of torque. Making Dodge the undeniable king of the horsepower wars this time
around. In fact, the Hellcat price per horsepower is only 85
dollars! But does all that muscle make the Hellcat faster than the ZL1 too?
You bet it does! It hits the 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and has an impressive 10.8
second quarter mile. Smoking the Camaro on the drag strip.
And it’s top speed? 199 miles per hour because you know
hp was too much
Unlike any other modern muscle car offering, the Hellcat is an unashamed,
full-on badass muscle car. While Ford and Chevy are producing more and more
sophisticated designs, Dodge put all their efforts into POWER, street
presence, and performance on the drag strip.
Ford is the last to enter the race with the recently announced Shelby GT350

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 Horsepower? Hell Yeah! – Ignition Ep. 116
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute,
Carlos Lago drives the most powerful production muscle car on the market:
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While it isn’t the most powerful
production V-8 in the world (which loses to the $1 million McLaren P1 by 20
hp before electric motors), the Hellcat’s 707 hp rating seems too
incredible to believe -- especially when you consider the cost. The
question is whether this Challenger has any brain to go along with its
extreme brawn. Through a trip to the Dyno, the test track, the road,
and a standing mile, we find out.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.
