Test Driving 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle - Fast Lane Classic Cars
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I thought you'd like a look at this very clean 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, so I decided to take it out for a spin. They've done a really nice job with this one. The paint is slick and it has a ton of cool features, like the cowl hood, hood pins, chrome Cragar SS wheels, full SS Trim, striping that is under the clear, and much more. Under the hood, you'll find a very stout 350 small block crate engine, with the centerbolt style heads. They have detailed it out nicely with a chrome air cleaner, billet aluminum valve covers, painted block and heads, and coated headers. This car is ready to show or go. I hope you found it interesting...thanks for taking a look! Filmed at Fast Lane Classic Cars in St. Charles, MO www.fastlanecars.com The first background track used in this video is by Jason Shaw. 1970 CHEVY CHEVELLE MALIBU SS - PINNACLE OF CHEVY MUSCLE CAR
THE MALIBU SUPER SPORT THIS YEAR WAS REACHING ITS REPUTATION HEIGHT BY OFFERING A 396 CID WHICH REALLY DISPLACED 402 INCHES, AS WITH THIS EXAMPLE, OR THE STEP-UP SS454 WITH 450 HP. OTHER LOWER CHEVELLE MODELS LIKE THE 4-DOOR SEDAN OR HARDTOP COULD HAVE THE MEASLY 307 CID THE STANDARD V-8 CHEVELLE ENGINE. SUPER SPORTS LOOKED THE PART WITH THEIR RACING STRIPES ON THE HOOD AND TRUNK, HOOD TIE-DOWNS, RALLY WHEELS, AND SPORTY INTERIOR WITH RALLY STEERING WHEEL AND BUCKET SEATS. THE MALIBU SS WHEELBASE IS 112 INCHES AND A WHOPPING 53,599 SUPER SPORTS WERE PRODUCED WITH 3,733 ORDERED WITH THE 454 V-8. LIST PRICE FOR A MALIBU SS LIKE THIS WAS AROUND $$2,800. OVER 350,000 CHEVELLES OF ALL MODELS WERE SOLD THIS YEAR PROVING THIS WAS A VERY POPULAR CAR. AND IN THE CASE OF MALIBU SS BY OFFERING SUCH BIG BLOCK POWERFUL MUSCLE ENGINES IT REACHED THE PINNACLE OF CHEVY MUSCLESHIP. THANKS FOR VIEWING THIS GREAT RESTORATION.

1964 CHEVY CHEVELLE MALIBU SS CONVERTIBLE -- 1ST YEAR OF CHEVELLE
The Chevy Chevelle was the answer to the Ford Fairlane and was Chevy's first mid-size car. Based on it's 115 inch chassis, the Chevelle offered a convertible which the Ford Fairlane did not. Malibu Super Sports were the Chevelle performance models. Engines ranged from a 120 bhp six, ( boo ), to a 300 bhp 327 cid V8. There are 3 Chevelle models offered. A base Chevelle 300, followed by the Chevelle Malibu, with the Chevelle Malibu SS at the top. Chevelles came in all the configurations of any other car. There are 2 and 4 dr. sedans and wagons, sport hardtops and convertibles. The El Camino also debuted this year which was a Chevelle with a pickup bed and another body style that Fairlane didn't offer. All models of the Chevelle 300 built 69,300 units. The Chevelle Malibu with all models produced 149,000 units built and the Malibu SS of all models had 76,860 units built. So, the first year Chevelle's sold very well and gave Ford some competition. Look at this sweetheart. The slab sided styling looks clean and neat. Great rear end treatment with stainless trim and attractive large taillights. Basic and common black vinyl interior back then looks great and I admire that race car type dash and console. Thanks very much for viewing this first year 1964 Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS convertible.

134374 / 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/mvtthjl This stunning Chevelle, which couples a Mast Motorsports LSX small block with a beefy Tremec 6-speed and serialized Art Morrison chassis, is as an amazing classic that can be enjoyed both on the road AND at the show. The product of a fresh, $200K restoration that transformed a sun-seeking Malibu into a shadow-dwelling Super Sport, this slick Chevy hardtop features a seamless and sinister appearance that's highlighted by an immaculate coat of jet-black paint. Twisting stout 11.4 to 1 compression into 628 Dyno-proven horsepower and a massive 585 lb./ft. of torque, this coupe's high performance, Mast Motorsports LSX 454 is a technological testament to the old rule: more cubic inches equals more horsepower! Based on GM's stalwart iron block small block, Mast's brutal mill utilizes forged Callies internals, Mahle pistons, ARP fasteners and a custom Mast Motorsports cam to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. A perfect amount of air and fuel is supplied by a mandatory GM throttle body that's cinched to a big, reusable filter element. That air and fuel mixes in a proven Vortec intake and progresses to familiar LS3 cylinder heads that are built with Manley pushrods and LS3 hydraulic roller lifters. Immediately following combustion, spent gases roar through 3-inch, mandrel-bent pipes via black, Jet-Hot coated Stainless Works headers. And a big Be Cool radiator, two Spal puller fans, a heavy duty crankcase breather and high quality Aeromotive fuel components ensure rocket-like acceleration. That killer small block sprints to its 6,800 RPM redline thanks to a fresh Tremec Magnum 6-speed that's built to handle 700 lb./ft. of torque. Holding that world class drivetrain off the pavement is a $21K Art Morrison boxed chassis, which is seated between traditional mini tubs. At the front of that chassis, tubular control arms hang adjustable Strange coil-overs and Detroit Speed power rack and pinion steering between an Art Morrison sway bar and tough, C6 Corvette spindles. At the back of that chassis, an Art Morrison, chrome-moly 4-link is complete with two more Strange coil-overs and a second Art Morison sway bar. And at the corners of the car, a $4K set of Boze Lateral G wheels spin sticky 275/35ZR18 front, and 335/30ZR18 rear, BF Goodrich G-Force T/As around locking lug nuts and "LSX" branded center caps. Open this Chevy's solid-closing doors and take in a custom black interior that, as an astute combination of serious hardware and modern aesthetics, is the perfect place to spend high profile weekends. The first thing you'll notice is four racing-style bucket seats: two of which are fitted with 5-point Impact Racing harnesses, and all of which are so supportive they'll have no problem living 100 miles at a time. In front of those seats, a custom dash hangs carbon fiber-styled inserts between custom American Autowire wiring and Auto Meter GM Performance Parts bowtie gauges. In front of the driver, a stylish, 4-spoke steering wheel spins a thick black rim around a tilting, Flaming River steering column. And the car's builders made sure safety was a top priority by installing a full Art Morrison cage over a track-ready fire suppression system. This stunning Chevelle looks absolutely predatory, and will likely attract a TON of attention wherever it goes. And with 628 horsepower under its hood, and a whole roster of top-notch equipment that's already spec-d and seamlessly bolted together, it's your one way ticket to instant gratification! American Aston Martin? '66 Malibu: /BIG MUSCLE
Owner: • ENZO MORALES A long wheelbase, v8 or v12 power, front engine/rear drive configuration, and a sport-tuned suspension with four comfy seats inside. That ladies and gentlemen is the recipe for any good grand touring car. Modern automobiles like the Mercedes-Benz CL63, BMW M6 and the Bentley Continental GT are perfect examples of this. How about a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu though - what about that? When released in 1966, this 2nd generation Chevelle was nothing more than a mid-priced, nicely appointed people mover with some decent styling. However now, some 47 years later, owner Enzo Morales has transformed this particular car into a jaw-dropping, hardcore styled road burner that is just as happy running the super-slab at triple digits as it is carving up your favorite back road.

1973 Chevrolet Chevelle: Bank Robber's Special -- /BIG MUSCLE
For its season finale BIG MUSCLE heads to the mean streets of Trenton, NJ to meet up with Sean Rich and his road warrior style 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle. This particular car was constructed with the idea that if one needed a getaway vehicle for which to rob a bank in, well then... this would be the perfect candidate. This is not some big dollar, no holds barred super car, but a ride built by its owner for the purpose of putting a smile on his face every time the key was turned.
