134006 / 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/cz3ncr4 This striking '67 Chevelle pro-tourer, with its 468 cubic inch V8, tweaked air suspension and completely custom interior, is the perfect piece for the muscle car fan who wants the best of absolutely everything! The beneficiary of a professional frame-off restoration that was completed in June of 2012, this slick Chevy hardtop features a seamless custom appearance that's highlighted by an immaculate coat of mirror-like paint. Take one look down the sides of this Chevelle's rock-solid body and it becomes obvious that great care was taken to ensure every panel is aligned to better-than-factory fit. Step closer to the car's hypnotic finish and check out its straight and ripple-free surfaces which are a product of both rust-free sheetmetal and high quality prep work. Grab the car's well-adjusted hood and feel how smoothly it closes to provide an excellent fit which is set off by a precise gaps and a glossy clearcoat shell. Now, step back and watch it all add up to one very well-done pro-tourer which is built to exacting specifications and features a great combination of skilled workmanship and first-rate detailing. The Chevrolet division has always represented performance to a virtual army of car guys. But unlike their luxuriously smooth Impala brethren, Chevelles manifests that performance as raw attitude and brute force. Lift the hood of this sinister pro-tourer and you'll find a 468 cubic inch big block V8 which makes killer power and produces the kind of throaty growls that elicit an immediate 'deer in the headlights' look. The more things change, the more they stay the same as this 21st century A-Body kicks into go-mode thanks to a rugged M22 Rock Crusher. As you can probably tell from our pictures, that proven pebble pounder is suspended by a fully rebuilt chassis that's fitted with fresh air bags, modern power steering, a traditional 12 bolt rear end and giant drilled and slotted rotors that are seized by bright red calipers. And putting the power to the pavement is a slick set of Boss Motorsports 338s which spin 235/40ZR18 front and 275/35ZR20 rear Nexen N7000 radials around chrome lug nuts and SuperFinish lips. Inside this stunning Chevelle you'll find a completely custom interior that's tight, technological and in excellent condition. The firm seats, modern units that have been swiped from a donor car and recovered in faux ostrich skin, feel comfortable enough to spend a sunny afternoon in. At the front of those seats, a custom dash hangs a sweet set of Auto Meter American Muscle gauges above a control panel for the car's Nostalgic Air Parts air conditioning and a bright screen for the car's Power Acoustik CD/DVD/Navigation system. At the base of that dash, a custom black console props a leather-booted Hurst shifter in front of four power window switches and a small leather armrest. In front of the driver a chrome tilt steering column, which is complete with a full set of billet stalks, prominently displays a custom chrome steering wheel. And behind the passengers, a fully-finished trunk features premium carpet, custom paneling and two large Vibe amplifiers. In summary, this '67 Chevelle represents creative engineering at its very finest, combining stunning design and execution with no-excuses, no-limits performance. 1966 Chevy Malibu Chevelle Classic Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! Sometimes, simple is good. This 1966 Chevelle Malibu is proof of that. Without any flashy graphics, body modifications, and a brilliant light pearl blue paint job, it stands out. Of course, to pull off a great car like this one, everything you do has to be flawless, from the bodywork to the powertrain to the interior, because there's nowhere for shoddy workmanship to hide in here. It's beautiful in photos, but in person it's gorgeous. There's nothing we like more than a sleeper, although a brilliant blue cruiser with a 454 big block is hardly a stealthy. Still, you just can't argue with its clean lines, and this car retains 100% of its original factory sheetmetal. The body is straight and solid, with no rust, waves or ripples. The gaps are awesome and the jambs are clean. The brilliant blue pearl paint is stunning, you would be hard pressed to find a flaw. All of the chrome and stainless is brilliant, the grille is straight and polished, and the badges and emblems are equally as nice. The simple approach works - please look at the pictures again and understand that it looks even better in person. Under the hood lives a strong running big block 454. You will notice the coated headers, a Performer RPM intake and chrome alternator in the highly detailed engine bay. There is a Billett distributor and a MSD blaster coil as well. The inner fenders and firewall are clean and in awesome shape. The car was once set up for air conditioning which would make it very easy to install, if your heart desires. Front and rear power drum brakes and power steering keep this Malibu between the lines. A set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A's and body matching Dog Dish wheels connect her to the pavement. Connected to that big block motor is a Muncie 4 speed transmission, which has been matched to a Lakewood bellhousing. Out back, a 12 bolt posi-traction rear end with 4:11 gears puts the power down. The framerails and floorboards show no sign of damage, rust or repairs. The undercarriage of this Malibu looks unrestored. The bushings in the upper and lower A frames are in good working order, and there is no rust or repairs to be found in the wheel wells. Those coated headers I mentioned earlier dump into a Flowmaster Exhaust system. Inside, the hits just keeps coming. The blue interior is in beautiful shape, from the door panels to the carpet and upholstery. In between the bucket seats sits a Hurst short throw shifter. Under the dash you will find a trio of Autometer gauges. The tach sits in front of the driver, attached to the steering column, in front of the beautiful wood wheel. The headliner is clean and fits tight across the roof. The trunk is clean, and features a mat, spare tire, jack and lug wrench. It's impossible to guess how many hours went into the construction of this amazing car, but given the lengthy list of equipment that went into the build, the asking price probably doesn't even cover the components, let alone the labor. At first glance, it appears to be a basic and simple piece, but the attention to detail and amazing quality grab your attention instantly. Take it to your local cruise night and smile as they hand you the trophy as you pull in—there's no hiding how brilliant this car is. Fully sorted and ready to show or drive, this is a once-in-a-lifetime car. Call now! I am available 7 Days a week. 248-974-9513 www.vanguardmotorsales.com
