See a young Dave Despain providing the highlights for the 1983 Moroso Raceway SCCA Trans-Am Race - some funny jabs from David Hobbs about it not being a professional race course and later talking about "some actor" being in his way. Wonder who that could be?
1987 SCCA Bendix Trans-Am Race Sears Point, Sonoma, CA 1 of 5
1 of 5 Some great racing at Sears Point in the 1987 SCCA Bendix Trans Am -
including some really cool in-car video of the Roush Merkur XR4Ti beasts,
in their 4cylinder turbo trim during
this race (later converted to V8 -- note I raced against these cars up in
Portland at last years historics race, you can see some in-car of that on
my channel as well) -- There are also some interviews with a very young
Scott Pruett here too (Formula-1 Scott? :) ).
Historic Trans-Am race at COTA in the wet!
This was the feature race at our event at COTA. The Historic Trans-Am
group. Always one of the most exciting groups in vintage racing. Add to
that racing these cars in the wet around a very challenging course. Please
share with your car loving friends.
