Welcome to JustinsCarReviews! Today I am showing a 2013 Honda Civic Si Sedan. This exterior color is known as Sunburst Orange Pearl, Sorry I didn't say it in the video, It was really wind out today. The Si is available in 7 different colors. This specific Civic Si costs $27,000 And that is without taxes. With taxes its going to be very close or at the $30k mark. The non Si Civic starts at $15,440. That is with the manual trnasmission the DX, Which does not come with a automatic transmission, At least not in Canada. You can get an LX for $18,245 with a 5 speed manual or for $19,445 a 5 speed automatic. I would recommend stepping up to the EX if you have the money, You get Alloy wheels, a sunroof, rear view camera and much more! The LX is just as good, Heated front seats, steering wheel cruise control, Econ button, i-mid display, USB and AUX ports, remote entry and lots more! Overall I would recommend the Honda Civic as a first car, Even the sued ones! It is very easy to see out of and really safe! 2014 HONDA EURO CIVIC 1.6 i-DTEC
Honda Civic all'arrembaggio. E' questo ciò che potremmo dire dopo aver provato la Civic con il nuovo motore 1.6 diesel. L'avevamo provata in versione 2.2 i-DTEC la scorsa estate, dove avevamo iniziato a prendere confidenza con la nona generazione della sempre verde giapponese. Design assolutamente personale con linee riprese dal settore aeronautico, la Civic non ammette mezze misure. Il look futuristico può piacere o meno, in ogni caso non lascia indifferenti. Ben proporzionata, con quel tocco di sana follia che contraddistingue i progettisti del sol levante: al frontale basso e sportivo fa da contraltare il posteriore alto e tondeggiante. Per chi deve verificare la "compatibilità" con il proprio garage, le misure non cambiano: lunga 4.285 millimetri, larga 1770 ed alta 1472, antenna compresa. Il motore non è l'unica novità tecnica presente sulla nuova Civic i-DTEC da 1,6 litri. Su questo modello fa l'esordio un nuovo cambio completamente riprogettato, più leggero e compatto. Il cambio manuale a 6 marce è più leggero di 7 kg rispetto al cambio della i-DTEC da 2,2 litri e consente al motore di sviluppare una coppia massima di 300 Nm, secondo quanto dichiara la casa. Aumenta così l'efficienza del sistema di trasmissione ed il cambio marcia risulta più scorrevole e preciso. Sotto il cofano della Civic batte un cuore tutto nuovo. Il 1.6 litri i-DTEC è infatti il primo motore della serie Honda Earth Dreams Technology ad essere lanciato in Europa. 120 CV di potenza massima dichiarata con coppia di 300 Nm @ 2000 giri minuto, ed emissioni di CO2 di 94 gr/km, sono i dati con i quali si presenta al pubblico. Non solo Civic: il motore diesel 1.6 litri i-DTEC verrà installato anche sul nuovo CR-V durante il 2013, e la filosofia Earth Dreams Technology sarà applicata in futuro su tutte le motorizzazioni. Progettato specificamente per il mercato europeo per rispondere alla crescente domanda di motori diesel a basse emissioni, il nuovo 1.6 i-DTEC sarà costruito presso lo stabilimento Honda di Swindon nel Regno Unito. Per capire l'importanza che il diesel riveste nei piani strategici Honda, basti pensare che è stata aperta una nuova linea di produzione in grado di produrre fino a 500 motori al giorno su un programma di due turni: 1 motore ogni 138 secondi. La nuova linea produrrà sia il nuovo motore 1.6 litri i-DTEC sia l'attuale motore 2.2 litri i-DTEC. Il nuovo 1.6 litri i-DTEC è formato da una testata in alluminio e un monoblocco aperto, anch'esso in alluminio. Pesa 47kg in meno rispetto al motore 2.2 litri i-DTEC. Tutti i singoli componenti sono stati riprogettati per ridurre al minimo sia il peso sia le dimensioni. Lo spessore delle pareti del cilindro è stato ridotto a 8 mm, rispetto ai 9 mm del 2.2 litri i-DTEC, nello stesso tempo sono stati utilizzati pistoni e bielle più leggeri. L'obiettivo principale per gli ingegneri sviluppatori Honda è stato quello di ridurre l'attrito meccanico del motore 1.6 litri i-DTEC a livelli equivalenti a quelli di un motore a benzina. Secondo quanto dichiara Honda, a 1500 giri il 1.6 litri i-DTEC ha circa il 40% i meno di attrito meccanico rispetto al 2.2 litri i-DTEC. La quarta generazione di turbocompressori Garrett è dotata di turbina a geometria variabile e la sua velocità di rotazione è controllata con precisione dai componenti elettronici della vettura, riducendo così al minimo il ritardo della turbina e fornendo una combinazione ottimale di spinta ai bassi e medi regimi di giri, con prestazioni ad alta velocità. Il turbo ha una pressione di spinta massima di 1.5 bar. Il motore 1.6 i-DTEC utilizza un sistema di iniezione solenoide Bosch che è in grado di funzionare all'alta pressione di 1800bar. Il carburante viene iniettato ad una velocità maggiore e l'atomizzazione del getto di carburante è più accurata. Questo migliora la miscelazione del combustibile con l'aria, risultando in una combustione più pulita ed efficiente, che contribuisce ad ottenere emissioni e consumi di carburante inferiori. Gli ingegneri hanno lavorato anche per migliorare il rendimento volumetrico dei cilindri, usando delle luci di aspirazione ad alta portata e alta turbolenza che controllano in modo preciso il processo di combustione per ridurre punti caldi ed emissioni indesiderate. Il flusso d'aria del motore viene gestito tramite un sistema EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), che funziona a bassa e alta pressione per ridurre le emissioni di NOx.
