It's just one of those cars I've always wanted since they came out...the V12, the doors, it's screams Lamborghini. After owning several Gallardos (including an Underground Racing Twin turbo), it really shows how superior their flagship model is in comparison. 2010 R8 V10 6 speed manual transmission stock Vs 2006 Gallardo E-Gear Stock racing at Palm Beach International Raceway ( PBIR) The 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo is powered by a 5.0 liter V10 naturally aspirated motor producing 520HP as per Lamborghini. The Audi R8 borrows it's motor from the latest Gallardo LP560-4 using a 5.2 liter V10. While the Gallardo LP560-4 is rated at 560HP, the Audi R8 is slightly de-tuned to 525HP.
