NASA TX & Texas World Speedway - Dodge Viper 'Rogue ACR-X' - April 25th, 2010
This is Race 3. Race 1 and 2 were not so good for me. Race 1 I was rear ended. Race 2 they called us to grid in 5 minutes and yet the race had already left. Go figure. So, before I went home, I just wanted to get in a decent race. I started out 11th because of the Race 2 fiasco. I managed to get to 3rd which wasn't so bad considering it was a 7 lap race. 7 laps? Whatever. Here's the video. Enjoy!
Viper ACR-X racing with David McNiel's full race prep ACR
A day at the track with David McNiel of EMS Racing and the new Dodge Viper
ACR-X.... This was taken at MotorSports Ranch Cresson TX February 2010.
Dodge brought out the ACR-X for testing and display at the Viper Day's
event... I had an opportunity to run with the car in one of the sessions.
TEXAS WORLD SPEEDWAY Z06 881
Nice BMW M3 track car...the driver is really good. My video says texas
motor speedway but it should say texas world speedway...oops
Summit Point, NASA-MA race in my Honda Prelude H2 car.
Highlight vid from NASA-MA April 2010 race at Summit Point WV. I was the
only H2 car to show up, so I moved myself up to H1 to race with 4 other
cars. Got 4th on Sat. and 3rd on Sunday. We ran in the "thunder" race group
so there was lots of fast V8 cars out there to mix it up with! Walter
McKinney No. 577 1999 Honda Prelude.
Dueling Camaros at Texas Motor Speedway (Roval)
I drove the Roval for the first time and ran into some great competition.
The black car is very competitive in the NASA American Iron racing series.
Note: Passing was limited to 2 places on the track and only with a wave by.
Red car is a 1994 Camaro Z28 that weighs
approximately 3150 lbs with 365 RWHP, with 12.5" wide Goodyear Eagle Sport
tires on all 4. Car is for sale!
Black car is a 1999 Camaro Z28 that weighs 3350 with
driver and around 350 RWHP to fit within the rules of the American Iron
series which limits the cars to 9.5 lbs/hp.
I have more hp and more tire, he has more downforce with the splitter and
diffuser, and much more driving skill. I am just a hack that loves an
occasional track day.
The sound is connected to the rear video, and it is off by a second or two
in the first session. Linking the two videos and the data is a nightmare!
See more details on the car here:
700hp Z06 - Texas World Speedway
C6 Z06 running at the HPD track day at Texas World Speedway. This car is
making around 700hp at the flywheel. Sorry about the wind noise, I'm going
to start recording audio from inside the car with a digital recorder so the
sound will be much better.
