2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec Test Drive & Luxury Car Review

http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan R-Spec is a real screamer. With a Direct Injection 5.0 liter V-8 engine, the Genesis R-Spec cranks out 427 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of torque. This power is channeled through an 8-speed transmission. Fuel economy remains respectable with the Genesis R-Spec netting 16 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. There are many nice refinements and changes on the 2012 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec. The chrome grille features color matched accents and the headlights have a really cool line of LED lights. The Genesis R-Spec rocks huge 19-inch wheels with high performance tires. On the inside the Genesis R-Spec is all luxury and technology. Hyundai used the finest materials and the Blue Link System keeps you up to date on with all the modern technology bells and whistles. Furthermore the sound system on the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec comes from Lexicon, the company that also makes sound systems for Rolls Royce. The 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec costs $46,500. And for that price you get a fully loaded luxury car with leather, navigation, the big engine, and the 8-speed transmission just to name a few. Most other luxury cars start at this price for the base model. Oh and don't forget about the 400+ horsepower! 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Road Test & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis-coupe/2012/ The 2012 Hyundai Genesis is a sporty compact car that features RWD. It is a great choice if you are looking for something other than the run of the mill V-6 Mustang or Camaro. The base model 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $22,250 and the top of the line model goes for $32,250. There are 2 different engines offered on the Genesis Coupe. The first is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 201 horsepower and 223 lb-ft. of torque. The 3.8 liter V-6 engine gives you 306 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for the 4-cylinder is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway while the V-6 engine manages 17 MPG city and 27 MPG highway. The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe brings back the sporty fun-loving feel that the Japanese car makers were famous for many years ago. The only difference is the Hyundai Genesis is or Korean origin. This is one cool looking hatchback that will give the American muscle cars a run for their money. 2012 Hyundai Equus Test Drive & Luxury Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/equus/2012/?id=32972 Everything you would expect in a luxury sedan can be found in the 2012 Hyundai Equus. In fact the Equus is a very nice alternative to Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes at a more affordable price. The Equus is a RWD long wheel base luxury sedan with a base price of $59,000. This is $15k-$30k less than is competition! When the Equus was first launched in this country it came with a very respectable 4.6 liter engine. But the engine certainly did not have the guts to match up to some of the competitors in the luxury car segment. For the 2012 model year the Equus gets an updated GDI 5.0 liter V-8 engine produces huge numbers at 429 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. Fuel economy figures are 15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. Hyundai has gone to great lengths to shed the image that their cars lack character. Well the new fluidic design element is evident on the 2012 Hyundai Equus. Up front the Equus shares the same style front grill as the Genesis sedan. HID Xenon headlights equipped with LED turn signals really accent the exterior of this luxury sedan. The 19-inch chrome wheels are also a great touch and they perfectly accentuate the other chrome accents parts on the exterior. The Equus can easily be mistaken for a Lexus or other high-end luxury cars. If you got behind the wheel of a 2012 Hyundai Equus, you might think you are in a Lexus LS 460. The gauges are very similar to that of other high-end luxury cars and the seat adjustments are located on the door just like they are in a Mercedes S550. There is an 8-inch navigation unit that also displays driver information located in the center dash. The whole interior is wrapped in high quality leather. There are lovely wood accents throughout. The audio is handled by a 608-watt Lexicon sound system. The driver's seats are 12-way adjustable and feature both heating and cooling. In the back there are two premium first-class seats that can recline and feature leg support. The center console in the rear is a mini fridge. The 2012 Hyundai Equus combines all the best features found on other luxury cars in one great package. 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis-coupe/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is back with a newly redesigned look and upgraded engine choices. The Genesis Coupe has always been lumped into the muscle car category with its front engine, rear-wheel drive platform. But the muscle cars have always held a distinct power advantage until now. The base engine for the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder. Power is up 30% from 210 horsepower up to 274 horsepower. An upgraded dual-scroll turbo, larger Intercooler, and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing help achieve these better power figures. Fuel economy for the 2.0 liter engine is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The other engine choice is a direct-injected 3.8 liter V-6 which produces 348 horsepower. Fuel economy for this engine is expected to be 18 MPG in the city and 28 MPG in the highway. There are two transmission choices available in the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: an 8-Speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. On the outside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe retains the same overall shape but the styling has been changed to reflect the rest of the Hyundai line-up. Up front the Genesis receives a more aggressive look thanks to an upgraded hood with two scoops, new front fascia, and larger bumper opening. Out back the Exhaust gasses exit out dual asymmetrical chrome pipes. The lights have been upgraded to include LED daytime running lamps which can be found on high end luxury cars. The R-Spec and Track editions will receive huge 19-inch alloy wheels. On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe features an available 360-watt Infinity sound system. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system and the usual iPod, USB, and auxiliary ports. A navigation system can be purchased as an option that includes a 7-inch touch screen monitor. The rear seats have been designed with comfort in mind. Instead of stuffing 3 seats in the rear; Hyundai has decided to go with only two. This means there is a ton of room for the rear occupants. When the Hyundai Genesis Coupe arrived on the scene a few years ago it was certainly a respectable car. In fact it was this car and the sedan version that really gave Hyundai a Boost in the automotive world. Now with the 2013 model there is more power! The base model 2.0 liter Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $24,250 and the top of the line 3.8 liter with the track package will retail for about $33,000. Maybach 62 Test Drive (And Ride!) with Chris Moran
http://www.SupercarNetwork.com An in-depth review of the 2005 Maybach 62 with Chris Moran Maybach was one of the world's most exquisite nameplates in the 1920s and '30s. The original company was founded by Karl Maybach — the son of Wilhelm Maybach, who developed the first Mercedes. Some people were surprised when Maybachs returned in the form of two closely related, all-new ultraluxury sedans. Each posh sedan is filled with nearly every sort of comfort and convenience feature offered in a motorcar. Ostensibly a product of DaimlerChrysler, Mercedes-Benz's parent company, the modern-day Maybach is actually considered a make of its own. Maybachs come in two sizes: the regular Type 57 and the extended-length Type 62. Each model designation indicates the car's length in meters: 5.73 for the Type 57 and 6.17 for the Type 62. Special features include electronic braking and an Airmatic Dual Control air suspension. A rearview parking-assist camera is available in the 2005 model. Standard equipment now includes Robbe & Berking beverage flutes and a handcrafted Dunhill Collection umbrella. Standard Sirius Satellite Radio includes a lifetime subscription. Only one or two Maybachs per day are built at a state-of-the-art facility in Germany. Mercedes-Benz dealers must sign separate agreements to sell them. Exterior According to the manufacturer, Maybach styling balances classic and avant-garde features. The doors, hood and fenders are made of aluminum. Maybach says a primary goal was to deliver an "entirely new definition of first class." Twelve body colors are available, and two-tone paint schemes may be specified. Bi-xenon headlights are standard. The regular-size Type 57 is 225.3 inches long overall, uses a 133.5-inch wheelbase and rides on 19-inch tires. A standard power-closing feature pulls the door shut from the first detent position. Interior As many as 100 items inside the Maybach are trimmed with exotic woods. Buyers can mix options with the immense standard-equipment list in numerous combinations. Available accessories include a luggage set, a sterling silver champagne goblet, a humidor, a golf bag and a fluffy travel rug. Buyers may choose from six Grand Nappa leather colors and three types of wood. All four standard seats are heated, and active seat ventilation is available. Occupants can luxuriate in reclining rear seats. A television with a 9.5-inch TFT flat screen includes a DVD player. Interior features also include four-zone climate control with two air-conditioning units, a refrigerated compartment, a cordless phone with two handsets and a 21-speaker Bose Dolby sound system. Each sedan also has the Tele Aid emergency communication system and the Comand integrated control system, which are available for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Under the Hood Breathing with the assistance of twin turbochargers, the 5.5-liter V-12 produces 550 horsepower and 663 pounds-feet of torque. It teams with a five-speed-automatic transmission. Maybach claims the Type 57 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. Safety Ten airbags, including two adaptive front airbags, four side-impact airbags, and front and rear side curtain-type airbags, are installed.
