Robert put together this S-10, and this is one of the first shake down runs it made. The truck has a stock GM 5.3L engine, a power glide transmission, a 9" rearend, and 275MT Drag Radials. The turbo is a T76, and it's running on the 7psi wastegate spring right now. Once the truck gets a roll cage and some race gas we'll see what it can do with a little more Boost. Can't wait!
This run launched at 3500RPM off the trans brake, and he Robert shifted to 2nd at 6000RPM. The tune is very conservative right now (11:1 AFR) since the truck is running 93oct pump gas.
10.3 @ 132mph - 5.3L + Turbonium
Robert's S10 out at the Memphis Motorsports Park on July 24, 2009. Got in
the 14psi spring for the wastegate and went out to see what she'd do. Only
got the Boost up to 17psi on this
run, but 132mph isn't too shabby. 1.5 60' was pretty decent. With a
little more work she might visit the single digit timeslips!
The truck has a junkyard 5.3L that hasn't been touched. It has a little T4
based T76 turbo pumping up the jams.
The built powerglide handles the shifting back to the 9" rearend. 4 link
in the rear with stock, cut springs up front. It's nothing fancy yet, but
it's going way faster than we
thought it would already. More parts and faster times are coming!
Slomo Camaro 11.4@122mph
Ole Slomo just got his hot rod back together. He is running a 4.3L SBC V6
on 4.5 cylinders. That's why it sounds so awesome. Make no mistake
though, this baby's got a bottle too; Hydrogen to be exact. Hell, they
makes bombs outta that stuff, and it makes some serious power.
This run is the first run out of the box for the new combo. He's got the
new WanLi drag radials out back (425/05R11). They hook and book now! And
the power makes it's way from engine to tires via the new MightPuddy
tripple disc clutch. This is just in development now, but as you can see,
it's capable of holding just about anything.
Not bad for a shake down run. Watch closely at 0:33 and you'll see the
front tire come off the ground. Not bad for a car that tips the scales at
6518lbs (corner weights: fl=1422lbs, fr=1388lbs, rl=1917lbs, rr=whatever's

Been building for over 3 years, first time at the track, entirely custom
12.5psi, Ford 8.8, caltracs, linelock, MT's. Thanks to my family for
putting up with the late nites in the garage and the loud Exhaust at 1am. Whether we were out beating up
on corvettes or sitting on the side of the road with blown parts, my
friends were there and that has made all the difference.

355 sbc with dart heads, vic jr intake and custom ground roller cam. i just
rebuilt this motor again after spinning a rod bearing because of a bad oil
pump. i will be running about 15 pounds of Boost on this one. more vids to come.[Built by
