1987 Buick Grand National (Regal T-Type Turbo) Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
**I made an editing error at the beginning. Thanks a bunch to Streetside Classics of Charlotte, NC for allowing me to film this video! Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the understated muscle car of the late 80s, the Buick Grand National, this one specifically the Regal T-Type. The GN and the T-Type are identical except for badging and interior trim. It wasn't until you stepped it on up to the GNX did you get the truly different package (which I will explain in the video). The GN is arguably the most menacing looking buick of all time with it's black monochrome paint scheme and turbo charged 3.8 V6 pumping out amazing performance numbers for the time period, even today! A unique experience to be able to check out one of these beasts. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of YouTube! BAGGED 1983 Buick Regal on 24" Forgiatos; MULTIPLE SCENES & HIGHWAY FOOTAGE - 1080p HD
VIMEO: https://vimeo.com/118646463 https://vimeo.com/118646463 https://vimeo.com/118646463 Stopped off in Jacksonville, FL, and met up with some COOL people! Two homies who came in a Buick Regal and a Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, both on 24" Forgiatos. In this video is the 1983 Buick Regal SQUATTING on 24" Forgiato Aresto wheels. He has air bags on the rear of his Regal, so he can ride however he wants to! Sitting up or squatting low. And he had 8 12's in the trunk! Music in the car sounded great. Since it my brother and I first time riding around Jacksonville, they took us to a couple locations for pictures and videos. So that's another reason this video is so long! Haha. Also got highway footage.. Always good to have that! Check it out and enjoy this long clip of the Buick Regal.

1464 HP Grand National dyno
Owners name is Jim, this is an 87 GN with a funny car cage, air to liquid Intercooler, SBC V8 (yeah, I know), 106mm single turbo, running on E85. The car Dyno'd 1464 HP but since this was a challenge no torque numbers were shown. The PA system they have sucks and this car brought such a large crowd it took me more than ten minutes just to see the screen and verify the numbers. He won the Car Craft Dyno Challenge in the turbo class at the 2010 Car Craft Summer Nationals.

Fast & Furious 4: Buick Grand National
MORE FAST& FURIOUS 4 @ INSIDELINE.COM: http://www.edmunds.com/il/fastandfurious/index.html Heists are, by their nature, illegal. So what could be a better car for a heist than a sinister black Buick Grand National GNX? And that's just what Dominic Torreto (Vin Diesel) drives at the beginning of Fast & Furious as he robs a land train full of high-octane fuel. No one in the picture car department remembers exactly how the GNX won its role, except that it seemed such a natural choice that no one gave it a second thought. Considering the intense stunts performed during the filming of this opening sequence, it's probably not surprising that a lot of Buick Grand Nationals (but no actual GNXs) were sacrificed in its creation. In fact, the picture car department created seven of them, all based on real GNs or T-Types. Four would wind up scrapped. The most unusual of the seven GNs built was one with the body mounted backward on the frame so it could be driven at speed while appearing to be going backward. To get the engine tucked under the trunk lid, however, the turbocharger and its plumbing had to be removed. Most of the other GNs retained their original turbo V6s, though a couple had Chevy crate V8s installed. It's amazing it took this long for someone to give the Grand National the starring role it deserved.

Chris Chow's "Grand National" dyno: 1077 hp
It's obviously not a stock 6cyl that came in the GN. Bigblock V8??
