Stock 2012 Kia Optima SX Turbo Dyno Run
For fun I decided to put my stock Optima on a Mustang Dyno to see how well it performed. Here are the results: Run #1: 230whp/297wtq @ 17.5PSI Run #2: 233whp/309wtq @ 17.7PSI Run #3: 230whp/304wtq @ 18.1PSI Remember, this is at the wheels, not the crank. Pretty confused about the Torque numbers being so high, but I guess I won't complain.

2011 Kia Optima SX 2.0T Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev - 13K
2011 Kia Optima SX 2.0T This Optima has Hyundai's turbocharged 2.0L GDI DOHC 4 Cyl which makes 274 HP. That power goes to the front wheels through a 6 speed auto. This 2.0L engine is used in the Genesis coupe, Sonata, & Veloster. IMO this is the most decent Kia ever delivered but it is pricey. Investing $30K+ on a Kia just doesn't seem like a clever idea, not on a brand where resale value is known to tank fast & on a brand thats considered inexpensive. Better off getting it used.
