1964 CHEVY CHEVELLE MALIBU SS CONVERTIBLE -- 1ST YEAR OF CHEVELLE
The Chevy Chevelle was the answer to the Ford Fairlane and was Chevy's
first mid-size car. Based on it's 115 inch chassis, the Chevelle offered a
convertible which the Ford Fairlane did not. Malibu Super Sports were the
Chevelle performance models. Engines ranged from a 120 bhp six, ( boo ),
to a 300 bhp 327 cid V8. There are 3 Chevelle models offered. A base
Chevelle 300, followed by the Chevelle Malibu, with the Chevelle Malibu SS
at the top. Chevelles came in all the configurations of any other car.
There are 2 and 4 dr. sedans and wagons, sport hardtops and convertibles.
The El Camino also debuted this year which was a Chevelle with a pickup bed
and another body style that Fairlane didn't offer. All models of the
Chevelle 300 built 69,300 units. The Chevelle Malibu with all models
produced 149,000 units built and the Malibu SS of all models had 76,860
units built. So, the first year Chevelle's sold very well and gave Ford
some competition. Look at this sweetheart. The slab sided styling looks
clean and neat. Great rear end treatment with stainless trim and
attractive large taillights. Basic and common black vinyl interior back
then looks great and I admire that race car type dash and console. Thanks
very much for viewing this first year 1964 Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS
1965 CHEVELLE MALIBU SS -- POPULAR CHEVY MID-SIZE
1965 marked the second year of the popular Chevelle Malibu which was in
response to the midsize Ford Fairlane. Not much was changed from the year
before and the great design and style of the Chevelle marched on. These
Malibu's entered the year with a hot 327 cid / 350 bhp V8 engine and then
at midyear, Chevy brought out the legend among the muscle cars: the
Chevelle SS 396. The 396 V8 made a hefty 375 bhp and was teamed with heavy
duty chassis pieces. It went 0 - 60 mph in 6 seconds! Only 201 of these
were built. This Malibu SS hardtop coupe cost $2,647. There were only two
Malibu SS models: the hardtop coupe and the convertible coupe. This
Malibu SS shown here is so splendid and with those rare Chevy wheels, looks
factory fresh and what this car looks like new. Everything is perfect.
Dazzling paint, supple seats, great chromed dash and console are features
to delight in. Thanks very much for viewing this 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS

• ENZO MORALES
A long wheelbase, v8 or v12 power, front engine/rear drive configuration,
and a sport-tuned suspension with four comfy seats inside. That ladies and
gentlemen is the recipe for any good grand touring car. Modern automobiles
like the Mercedes-Benz CL63, BMW M6 and the Bentley Continental GT are
perfect examples of this. How about a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu though
- what about that? When released in 1966, this 2nd generation Chevelle was
nothing more than a mid-priced, nicely appointed people mover with some
decent styling. However now, some 47 years later, owner Enzo Morales has
transformed this particular car into a jaw-dropping, hardcore styled road
burner that is just as happy running the super-slab at triple digits as it
is carving up your favorite back road.

1973 Chevrolet Chevelle: Bank Robber's Special -- /BIG MUSCLE
For its season finale BIG MUSCLE heads to the mean streets of Trenton, NJ
to meet up with Sean Rich and his road warrior style 1973 Chevrolet
Chevelle. This particular car was constructed with the idea that if one
needed a getaway vehicle for which to rob a bank in, well then... this
would be the perfect candidate. This is not some big dollar, no holds
barred super car, but a ride built by its owner for the purpose of putting
a smile on his face every time the key was turned.
