Bill Shepherd Mustang 1969 Mustang Boss 429
One of the rarest Mustangs to have ever been produced, with only 857 being produced, it is very rare to find one of these cars up for sale in Europe! In modern terminology, 429 translates to 7 litres of V8 muscle, quite literally 'shoehorned' into the front of the Boss 429. Ford contracted Kar Kraft to fit the behemoth engines into these cars, which required new shock towers being installed, widening the engine compartment by 2 inches to allow the engine to be placed. Even the battery had to be moved to the boot/trunk of the car for space and air conditioning was not an option due to lack of engine bay space. Power steering, however, was a mandatory option. The Boss 429 was created solely for homologation purposes so that Ford could enter the engine into Nascar racing, rules stated that 500 road cars must be bult to homologate the engine for racing. Although the Mustang did not compete in Nascar, the Mustang was the chosen platform to make use of the semi-hemi V8 engine

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, Restomod History The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Introduced early on April 17, 1964, dubbed as a "1964½" model by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest nameplate in production and has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation. The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobiles—sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks[—and gave rise to competitors such as GM's Chevrolet Camaro, AMC's Javelin, and Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracudas and Dodge Challengers. VIN 7T02C251312 It was a full restoration 1,700 miles ago and has been pampered ever since. The body has been modified slightly but very tastefully and the interior has been done the same way.
