Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course NASA TTA winning lap April 2012 (2011 Mustang GT 5.0)
First weekend of competition with the car in NASA's Time Trial Class A
(Best lap time wins but lots of cars on track at once).
This is Mid-Ohio's "Club Course" meaning it has the chicane after turn 1.
I have lots of room to improve myself (the driver) and take some time out
of the lap.
This weekend I was competing against a prepared Lotus Exige S240 and a
prepared Porsche Cayman S.
The car was prepared by Rehagen Racing and I would like to thank my sponsor
Ford Motor Company for allowing me the ability to go out and do this.
The second lap of this video was shaping up to be better than the first but
the corner worker in turn 12 didn't wave the caution flag for the Viper who
spun and was in the middle of the racing line. I just wanted to not hit him
in the driver door and ended up with an embarrassingly big tank slapper.
1990 AMA Superbike & Supersport - Mid-Ohio
Coverage of the two races on The American Sports Cavalcade. Some classic
early Screamin' Chief action to be found here. :^) Also the late Larry
Schwarzbach at the place he unfortunately lost his life two years later.
Kawasaki AMA Superbike Laguna Seca 1979 Race
Video is from the 1979 Laguna Seca AMA Superbike race. Features AMA
Superbike racers Steve McLauglin, Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer.
This is one segment from the restored video player “ Kawasaki Good Times
Theatre”. The Good Times Theatre video players were used at Kawasaki
dealerships in the 1970’s for customer viewing on the showrooms.
This restored video features great Kawasaki moments from the mid to late
1970’s. Audio quality on the restored video is fair, but clearly
understandable. This is a great piece of Motorcycle History. Hope you enjoy
Mystery rider hot lap on AMA superbike
Here's a YouTube R1 video featuring the Team RidersDiscount.com YZF-R1
Superbike. The RidersDiscount.com Yamaha YZF-R1 was built to AMA Superbike
specifications using the best aftermarket Yamaha parts and accessories
available from Riders Discount. No aspect of the RidersDiscount.com R1 was
overlooked: from the Ariete 90° valve stems to the Yamaha's crossplane
engine and even the SharkSkinz bodywork was modified to make it a potent
track weapon. The only thing that stopped us from taking it even further
was AMA Superbike rulebook!
In this Yamaha R1 YouTube video, the RD R1 Yamaha does some laps at
Gingerman Raceway while evaluating some different R1 suspension setup and
R1 engine characteristics. The Yamaha is piloted by RD's own talented
mystery rider who is seen here sliding the bike into, and out of -- just
about every corner at Gingerman Raceway. When he's not spinning it up or
backing it in, he's busy wheeling the bike ... everywhere.
So, why do we have a mystery rider? At RidersDiscount.com, we buy, build
and race our own bikes to better understand what products work and what's
not worth putting on YOUR bike. And we do it all at our headquarters in
Western Michigan, so we can bolt the parts on and try them out as soon as
they become available. You can read more about our YZF-R1 superbike by
