1966 Chevy II Nova Duece--FOR SALE
Its no secret; these once little abundant rockets are now becoming more
scarce than their bigger brother and sister cars. Throughout the years of
drag racing and heavy street modifications, these once mighty mouses are
now far and few between.
This little Burnt Orange Nova is absolutely gorgeous! It is fresh out of
our paint shop and sitting pretty. The roller rockers have been readjusted
and tuned up to put you back in the seat quickly. She will run or cruise
to your nearest show, cruise in, or taking the better half for a night out
on the town. There is not enough "thumbs up" in the world when you cruise
in traffic in this little Deuce.
The car houses a Holley Dual Feed Carb, Hooker headers, MSD ignition
upgrade, power brakes, Weld Wheels, Dual Exhaust, Aluminum Intake, BeCool Aluminum
Radiator with polished fan shroud, new style gauge dash and underneath
looks newer than the day it rolled off the line. What a great car!

Banks Top Diesel Dragster: NHRDA Nationals
On March 6th, 2010 the Banks crew tested out the rail's new "Stroker" 427
cu. in., twin-turbo 7.0L Duramax engine
at the NHRDA Nationals in Wittmann, Arizona. The numbers for this trip out
were 7.670 @173.54. We were a little faster back in April 2009 when we ran 7.17 @
181.08. We've also run a best trap speed of 190MPH with the car on a
separate test session. All those runs were with our twin-turbo'd Duramax, and now we're getting set to hit
the track with a supercharged configuration. Stay tuned for that! More info

manifold, 30 PSI stock turbo, custom
3.5" dual Exhaust. TH-400, PDQ
Allison converter, Redneck performance Trans-brake full manual reverse
pattern valve body, 12 bolt 2 series factory posi equiped with 33 spline
spider gears and 2.56 gear, Yukon 33 spline alxes with 1/2 studs, M/T ET
streets. Thousands of streets miles later, to date best et is 11.48 @ 120
with 1.68 60' (without the trans-brake), getting 30/24 MPG (City/HWY), 460
HP, approx. 900 lbs torque.
Built in my garage on a budget, stayed tuned it can only get better......
