http://www.autobytel.com/cadillac/escalade/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Cadillac Escalade might be on the higher end of the price scale for an SUV. However the Escalade wasn't made for ordinary soccer moms and trips to the grocery store, Cadillac's premium SUV was built for those looking for luxurious comfort. It's not uncommon to see rap stars, movie stars, diplomats, and other famous high profile people stepping out of an Escalade. The 2012 Cadillac Escalade exudes style and sophistication, and is also packed full of the latest and greatest technology as well as a very powerful engine. The base price for this SUV is $63,170 with the top of the line Platinum Edition AWD moving off dealer lots starting at $82,495. The 2012 Cadillac Escalade is powered by a powerful 6.2 liter V-8 engine that produces 403 horsepower and 417 lb-ft. of torque. The Escalade's transmission is a 6-speed automatic that is very responsive and great for towing. The Escalade also comes with either a RWD or AWD drivetrain. Fuel economy for the 4x2 model is 14 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway thanks to Active Fuel Management which essentially turns the Escalade V-8 into a 4-cylinder engine at low operating loads. This technology allows the shocks to dampen almost instantaneously providing a comfortable ride. The Escalade has always been known to have the latest and greatest technology available from Cadillac. Some great features found on the 2012 model include: Blind Zone Alert, Touch-Screen Navigation, Bose surround sound, and more. There is DVD entertainment for the rear passengers. 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Test Drive & Exotic Car Video Review
Wow is about the only word that comes to mind when you view the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador for the first time. Press the throttle and this exotic car warps your mind. This sexy beast is the rightful heir to the Lambo throne and replaces the Murcielago as the ubber raging bull. With any new Lamborghini release, the world becomes enamored and awestruck, but this 700 horsepower all-wheel drive beast has really upped the exotic car game and left its competitors in the dust. So what's it cost to drive the pinnacle of automotive engineering? Try a cool $400k on for size! Check out all the specs on the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador http://www.autobytel.com/lamborghini/aventador/2013/?id=32972 50 years ago a man named Ferruccio who owned a successful tractor company wanted to buy a sports car so he bought a Ferrari. He liked the car but had a few suggestions to make it better. When Enzo Ferrari snubbed Ferruccio the battle for exotic car supremacy was born. Now on the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini, we have this, the greatest Lamborghini's of all time: the Aventador. There is a new king at the top of the Lamborghini family tree. The Murcielago has been loved for many years and the Aventador has stepped up to take its place. This is the biggest and baddest Lambo you can buy. The car reviewed here in the test drive video sports a $14,000 matte paint job that looks amazing. Up front the headlights are gorgeous with the unique LED daytime running light "Y" style. Down the side you notice the massive wheels with the huge carbon-ceramic brakes and bright orange calipers. The car is very low measuring only 44 inches tall. The scissor doors look fantastic and are a Lamborghini trade mark. Out back the engine is open only covered by a transparent bonnet allowing you to see the heart of this beast. The wicked looking tail lamps mimic the pattern seen on the headlights. The whole look is aggressive supercar super amazing! Under the bonnet is a 6.5 liter V-12 engine that produces 691 horsepower and 508 lb-ft. of torque. This rocket ship blast from 0-60 MPH in 2.9 seconds! Keep your foot planted and the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador has a top speed of 207 MPH. The ISR gearbox is a 7-speed transmission that shifts in milliseconds. Another innovation on the Aventador is the push-rod style suspension. This setup is more commonly seen in Formula-1 race cars. The interior on the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador is inspired by a fighter jet cockpit. The steering wheel feels great in your hands; the center stack is perfectly angled to allow the driver to monitor climate, navigation, and audio. The gauges are not analog rather a TFT Screen. Driving the Aventador is the closest thing to flying a fighter jet. The acceleration is wild and the engine is ferocious making lots of noise since its mounted right behind the cabin. Besides the power, this exotic car handles fantastically. There are 3 different drive modes on the Aventador. Strada is the normal mode where traction control is at its fullest, the Exhaust note is muted a bit, and the shifts are easier. Sport mode relaxes the traction control and shifts get a little quicker. For the real Lamborghini experience, pop the car into Corsa mode and the car go on full tilt with lightning fast shifts. At over $400k this car is only for the rich. But they are getting an amazing machine that is wild, brash, in your face, and aggressive. It's everything you would want from a Lamborghini Supercar! There is no better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini than by driving the 2013 Aventador. 2012 Lexus LS 460L Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/lexus/ls-460/2012/?id=32972 The original Lexus LS 400 debuted back in 1989 and helped to redefine what a luxury car is as well as where a luxury car maker can come from. Asian automakers are known for customer service, dependability, and refinement; and the 2012 Lexus LS 460L is just as exemplary of what a luxury should be as the original. The base model short wheelbase LS 460 starts at $67,630 with the top of the line AWD Long Wheelbase version bringing the price all the way up to $75,480. The 2012 Lexus LS 460L is powered by a 4.6 liter V-8 engine that makes 380 horsepower and 367 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a slick shifting 8-speed automatic. The powerful engine and transmission help the LS 460L achieve 0-60 MPH in 5.4 seconds. Pretty great for a heavy full-size luxury sedan. Fuel economy is pretty good at 16 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. The LS 460 host a whole bunch of great features and technology. From a driving and performance perspective the 2012 Lexus LS 460L features dual variable valve timing, an 8-speed transmission as mentioned above, variable gear ratio steering, electronic power steering, and direct injection. You can choose between RWD or AWD with enhanced traction control. The Lexus LS 460L has a sophisticated adaptive variable air suspension. This suspension relies on air springs that are controlled from inside the cabin. The driver can choose between three different suspension setting between sporty and luxurious. On the outside the Lexus LS 460L looks the part of a full fledge luxury car. The paint hob features a wet-sanded finish that increases luster and depth. The headlights are HID with an Adaptive Front Lighting Feature. The taillights feature LEDs which are more noticeable than regular bulbs. The sport edition comes with huge 19-inch alloy rims along with a cool sporty grille. The technology found on the Lexus LS 460L is the best stuff that Toyota has to offer. You get dynamic radar cruise control, an advanced parking guidance system, intuitive park assist, SmartAccess, a backup camera, power trunk, touch screen navigation, and more. The great thing about the 2012 Lexus LS 460 is that it has a great resale value and the vehicle is very dependable. The Escalade is one of the mammoths in this segment and is one of the best selling ones. Power in the Escalade comes from a 6.2 L V8 made into a 6-Speed Automatic with 4-Wheel Drive. On the interior you will find a very luxurious cabin with nice rich materials and a great amount of room up front and the rear (2nd Row Only). We love the long list of standard features the Escalade offers and we love the nice gusty V8, However with that heavy duty V8 made exclusively for the Escalade, it has very low fuel economy, however every full size SUV has dismal fuel economy. Compared to the Escalade's competitors the Navigator is too pricey and doesn't offer the features the Cadillac offers, however we really love the Infiniti QX56 and we think it's a little more inviting on the interior and has more rich materials. Is the Escalde worth purchasing now? Well it depends if you really love the Escalade and you're a Cadillac enthusiast and you need a Escalade soon. However otherwise the 2013 Escalade can wait as the next generation will be coming out less than you can run to your nearest grocery store.
