Best Paint Touch-up Tricks: Mercedes G55
This is one of the worst key scratches I have ever seen. This car needed to be repainted, but I thought I would give it a shot...nothing to lose. It covered 3 separate door panels with varying depth levels. 98% of the 9 feet was through the clear coat, paint, base, and into the substrate. EXTREMELY bad scratch. In this episode, I discuss multiple ways to approach this type of paint damage. I want to be crystal clear: THIS CAR NEEDED TO BE REPAINTED FOR 90-100% satisfaction. My techniques here, with the understanding of the customer, had the best-case final results of 70% to 75% "better or touched-up" appearance. See how it turned out. Thx for watching! -L

VIP Japanese Sedan Dress Up Car Collection ( PART 1 of 2 )
"VIP" (pronounced like whip or zip... not V.I.P) is the Japanese way of dressing cars up... body kits, dropped suspension, HID fog lights, custom headlights, wood and leather interiors, big rims and low profile tyres...all that. Fabulous or Junction Produce are big names in the VIP genre. Although some people try to VIP little cars, generally speaking VIP cars are big body sedans with larger engines, are luxurious and chunky looking. I think personally companies like Brabus and Lorinser styled Merceds would be considered "VIP" and are probably part of the influence behind the genre. Any large sedan can be "VIPPED"... though the Japanese tend to go for Japanese sedans or cars like Jaguar and Mercedes Benz. The video is in Japanese however, it is back to back VIP cars, so you can enjoy the view and forget the words. The people are talking about why they decided to style their cars VIP, how they did it, which products and styling comapnies they used etc... all kind of irrelevant unless you live in Japan and want to do the same. The video shows some of the most striking examples of Japanese VIP cars, so if you are new to the genre, Im sure youre going to love the styling. VIP cars are incredible. Miss Chane's GS300 | Liberty VIP
This is a car that has really been making it's way around the internet. Chane Pham, or "Miss Chane", as her 15 thousand followers know her as, is the proud owner of this light pastel purple/pink GS300. Bagged on a rare set of old Meister style Work Equips, tucked neatly underneath pulled fenders. On the inside, a full diamond stitched interior, TV units, and leather. Chane lives 3 hours from myself, so we met up on Import Expo weekend in Atlantic City, NJ for the feature. The two sections were shot at 1 - 3 AM the night immediately following Import Expo, and 9 - 11 AM the morning after. Trying to piece together the dramatically different scenes (day / night) wasn't easy until I themed them appropriately with different tracks. Enjoy! Special thanks to Chris Sempek for sticking around the day after to help with rolling shots. Refurbishing Plastic & Vinyl Panels [S2 Ep. 10-3]
Quick, what is the nastiest project that EVERYBODY has to do eventually? That's right, replacing old, worn out, nasty carpeting. Today, Stacey rolls the "Banshee" back into the shop and shows you how to bring a very tired interior back to life with some tips and tricks that will help in replacing those old, worn out threads with some new ones. And while we are on the subject of interiors, Stacey also digs into one of the best kept secrets in auto restoration, painting a dash and door panels. If you would like to make your dash and door panels look like new again in just a few hours, for very little money, and not have the paint flake off in a few weeks in big chunks, then this is the show you have to see!
