2014 GMC Sierra SLT Walk Around
The 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 is a full-size, light-duty pickup truck offered in
regular, extended, and crew cab body styles. It is completely redesigned
for 2014, equipped with a choice between three new engines, and offered
with several options that are new to the Sierra lineup.
"Our engineers and designers left nothing on the table when developing this
latest Sierra pickup," said Tony DiSalle, vice president of GMC Marketing.
"These trucks have all the power and capability that's expected in today's
market, excellent fuel efficiency, plus a lot of unexpected, purposeful
features developed with truck owners in mind."
The 2014 Sierra Crew Cab goes on sale in the spring of 2013, with regular-
and extended-cab models following shortly thereafter.
The new 2014 Sierra 1500 is offered with a choice of a 4.3-liter V-6,
5.3-liter V-8, or a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, all equipped with direct fuel
injection, variable valve timing, and GM's proprietary Active Fuel
Management technology that shuts off half of the engine's cylinders under
low-load driving conditions to conserve fuel.
Perhaps in reference to the 2013 Ram 1500's new 3.6-liter V-6 engine,
Jordan Lee, powertrain chief engineer for the new Sierra, said: "Rather
than adapting a V-6 intended for use in passenger cars, we built a new
engine from the ground up based on the unique demands of a truck. Sierra's
4.3-liter V-6 shares its basic design architecture with the latest
iterations of the V-8 engines that GMC owners have trusted for
All three of the Sierra's new engines develop more horsepower and more torque
than the engines they replace, and are more fuel efficient. Final power,
payload and tow ratings will be available when the new Sierra debuts at the
Detroit Auto Show in January 2013.
A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard, and includes a new Cruise
Grade Braking feature. Electric steering, new DuraLife brake rotors, and a
stiffer suspension with aluminum upper and lower front control arms are
also included on the 2014 Sierra.

2014+ Supra Concept? The Lexus LF-LC 500HP Hybrid Concept Car.
This concept causes one to wonder if the Supra will return in the near
future. Even though I am not personally a Toyota fan, a Supra return would
be quite exciting!
Lexus has been taking a new direction with its designs as evidenced by the
new GS not to mention the wild LF-A supercar. The LF-LC—a seductive
design study—looks to top the list with its dynamic, angular yet fluid
bodylines, and is being conceptualized as 2+2 hybrid sports offering. We
like the car's glass-to-glass roof pillar, something Lexus says has never
been done before. And when you have 'taillamps inspired by jet
afterburners' you're setting serious performance expectations. The LF-LC
works on many fronts and there have been whisperings (and back-channel
rumors of a Supra comeback) that the car might include a hybrid drivetrain.
You have to admit the LF-LC's silhouette does a lot more than hint at the

2014 Chevy Impala First Drive Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2014 Chevy Impala represents a modern
version the classic big American Sedan. Of course the big difference being
that unlike Chevrolet Impalas of the 1950's and 1960's the new 2014 Chevy
Impala is front-wheel-drive instead of RWD. In this TFLcar first drive
review we spend some quality time with the big GM ride getting to know the
new Impala in San Diego, California. With a 3.6L engine that puts out 305
HP, the new Impala is certainly not underpowered, but is it better than the
old car which GM mainly sold to rent-a-car fleet and commercial
customers....you'll have to watch this first drive review to find out.
Watch the new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup debut in Detroit
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup
broke cover weeks before the Detroit Auto Show and we were there to watch
the truck explode onto the stage. And yes it literally exploded unto the
world stage. Check out this video as we capture the new Chevy pickup's
official public debut along with the GMC Sierra. Both trucks will feature
three engine choices that promise to deliver better fuel economy as all
three engines will be direct injected, come with variable timing and
feature cylinder deactivation. But why read about the new Chevy Silverado
when you can watch the debut for yourself in this exclusive TFLcar video
Watch the new 2014 GMC Sierra Pickup take center stage in Detroit debut
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2014 GMC Sierra broke cover today
in Detroit. The new GMC pickup features three engine choices just like it's
Chevy brother the Silverado. But while the both pickup offer more manly
helping of boxy and squared jawed testosterone, the GMC Sierra seems to
have had a double helping of morning Wheaties. Bold and rugged certainly
describe the design language of the Sierra which now features a slowly
opening back lift gate that won't slam down when you pop it open. Check out
this exclusive TFLcar video as we bring you today's debut of the new 2014
GMC Sierra direct from Detroit.
2014 Chevy Silverado First Drive On & Off-Road Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is all new with
three different engine choices. In this exclusive, fun and informative
TFLcar review we take the test the brand new pickup truck both on road and
off-road. We even try towing with the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado to see how
it handles a heavy load. But perhaps most importantly we for many TFLcar
viewers we see how fast the new pickup with the 5.3L V8 is from 0-60 MPH.
We also take the new Chevy Silverado off-road and get it wet and muddy to
test how it handles the rough and rutted roads just out side of San
Muscle Truck Revamp on a 1974 Chevrolet C10! - Hot Rod Garage Ep. 5
On this episode of Hot Rod Garage Presented by Lincoln Tech we revamp the
Muscle Truck, our 1974 Chevrolet C10. In episode 28 of Roadkill we ripped
the stepside fenders off the bed and cut the front sheet metal to make room
for aggressive off-road rubber so that we could roost through the Imperial
Sand Dunes. The fenderless version of the Muscle Truck was fun but it’s
high time we restore the truck to her former glory. We’ll replace the
rapidly deteriorating particle board bed floor with new oak slats and
bolt-on a new pair of aftermarket front fenders. We’ll also add a bit of
functionality to the truck by covering the massive step notch in the rear
frame rails with sheet metal, which will keep stuff from falling out of the
bed. As usual, Finnegan and Freiburger will answer viewer questions pulled
from our Facebook page and Lincoln Tech instructors and students will drop
a bit of knowledge in a

2014 GMC Sierra: Everything you'd ever want to know about the new trucks interior design
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2014 GMC Sierra is a giant Tonka
toy of a pickup truck. But the new Sierra's design is more than just skin
deep. In another exclusive TFLcar video we not only show you the truck
interior design but with the help of the truck's lead interior designer we
also show you the thinking that went into the design of the interior. And
as we're sure you are aware the new 2014 Sierra shares almost all of it's
basic design with the new 2014 Chevy Silverado so what's true for the
Sierra's interior design also holds true for the Chevrolet.
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray - Autoweek detailed walkaround
Take a detailed walkaround of the 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray with
Autoweek technical editor and resident Corvette Expert Dale Jewett. Dale
and Autoweek executive creative director Ken Ross get up close and personal
with the new C7. They discuss the Stingray's design - how form indeed
follows function. Dale covers what's new, what's different, and what's
based on the Corvette's storied heritage. The design team and developers
consulted with the Corvette Racing ALMS and Le Mans teams. The result -
aero, vents and cooling systems that improve efficiency and performance,
and keep passengers more comfortable. Speaking of comfort, take a look at
the redesigned interior - always a source of criticism in past Corvette
