This is the first 2 car crash i have seen at WSID and only my second since seeing the two funny cars come together after the finish when Calder held the Nationals.
Drag Crash - Stooge V8 Torana
Chris Theo was very lucky to escape unscathed from this unfortunate accident at Heathcote Park. The very well built V8 powered Holden LX hatchback Torana didn't fare so well.

Pommy Steve Read Top Fuel stuck throttle crash
Pommy Steve Read in the 4th round of Top Fuel qualifying at the 2008 Fuchs Australian Nationals, WSID, Australia. His run appeared to be a stout one, but no time was recorded. Unfortunately his throttle jammed open after the finish line with terrible consequences. HE crashed into the sand trap and safety net.
